I have just received this message from my close friend Lale. I wanted to share it with the Let’s Adopt! community.
I would appreciate if you left a comment on the blog. Lale is one of the greatest animal rescuers I have ever met, personally responsible for hundreds of incredible rescues.

She was our sunshine.

What a beautiful dog. I am sorry you are sad and miss her. She will be waiting for you. And, she will be watching all the wonderful things you will still do for other animals. We are grateful for all you have done to help the animals and wish for happier days soon for you.

LAST NIGHT

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said " it's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew…
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over… I smile and watch you yawning
and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Such very sad news. I promise you, I know how you feel at this time. No other will ever take Tarcin's place…….every angel is unique. They are only with us for a short time but we must be truly honoured and just so grateful that we shared part of our life with them. Someone once said to me that the best place to bury a dog is in the heart of the owner. I didn't understand at the time – but now I do. My dogs that have passed will always be with me….forever. Run free beautiful Tarcin, bless you darling, until we all meet again.x My thoughts and prayers are with you Lale & family.x
My heart is with you. No words can ever make up for your loss. However, you have loved and no love is ever wasted. These pictures have said a million words. Tarcin has been loved so deeply by you and her life hasn't been in vain, you have made her life a meaningful and very happy one. Thank you for making that happen. it is always sad to be left behind, and in time you will start to remember how wonderful your friend was and will make you smile to the core, And we will always be thankful that they shared their lives with us. Sorry for your loss.

what a beautiful baby. it's hard to lose those who love us unconditionally and who we love so deeply with no remorse. glad you got to be each other's family. i'm so sorry for the pain you are feeling now and know tarcin will never be out of your heart.
What a stunningly beautiful dog, your Tarcin. I pray for the passing of her gentle soul and for your family to find peace. I'm very sorry for your loss, as I know how hard it is to lose our special friends.
