The little baby cat we recently rescued is still fighting! He’s still at the vet clinic and improving.
Found by kind people unresponsive, lying on the ground, breathing with difficulty and in complete shock, Black Kitten was rushed to a clinic where dehydration, anemia and Feline Hemotrophic Mycoplasmosis were discovered. Treatment was immediately started, and the baby was placed under 24hr observation.
A few weeks later the brave little hero is already feeling much better and improving by the minute. He is still hospitalized and we need help with his medical bills. If you can, please join us in saving his life.

THE RESCUE
Black Kitten was found by his rescuers on their way back home from work. The tiny cat was lying on the ground unresponsive and every breath he was managing to take seemed to happen with great difficulty.
The rescuers realized something was seriously wrong and rushed him to a vet clinic, then contacted us for help. An examination and a series of tests discovered severe dehydration, anemia and Feline Hemotrophic Mycoplasmosis (also known as Hemobartonella felis). Without treatment, the disease is life-threatening and can cause damage to the liver, lungs, spleen and bone marrow. A treatment protocol for shock was immediately started, which warms the patient, provides IV hydration and oxygen therapy, as well as assisted ventilation when required; the baby cat was then placed under 24hr monitoring of all vitals such as heart rate and blood pressure. Treatment for Hemobartonella was also started.
