LIES from Istanbul Greater City Council, Truth is in the Album, See For Yourself
Dear Sir,
In your referenced mail, you are claiming that the Istanbul Greater City Council (IBB) dumps street animals in a forested area and kills them there.
IBB carries out its operations according to the Law No. 5199 and its regulations.
In accordance with this law, street animals are collected and brought to our rehabilitation Centers. If they have any sickness, they are treated for it. Then they are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and registered. After their operation wounds are healed, and if they have not been homed, they are taken back to where they were found. Dumping them in the forest or killing them, as you mention in your mail, is out of the question. There could be no justification for dumping and killing animals on whom so much money and effort has been spent.

We are hoping that Kadir Topbaş hears our voice, because the White Table sends “THIS LIE” in response… There is no investigation, no enquiry… The street animals you see in the photos are only a fraction of the total, and it is apparent from the (blue) ear tags that almost all of them have been neutered at HASDAL.
"Admit nothing, deny everything, launch counterattack." , classic old-school way of handling controversy. Wonder when they will learn it is 2009, not 1979, and this method does not work?
We've seen too many DEAD animals to believe your lies.!!! Why would you go to the expense of neutering and then kill them? The only place you're dumping them is in the dump!! We've seen pictures of your garbage men putting live animals into garbage trucks…Who do you think you're trying to fool? The only FOOLS in your article is yourselves. Most people aren't STUPID enough to believe your LIES.!!
So, where do we go from here?
If all of this is lies, then why is it that when I click on the highlighted text, the page it takes me too is ‘no longer available’ surely if you had nothing to hide these pages would still be available. As mentioned above, stop lying and realise this year is 2010 and we are no longer the gullible, naive people governments think we should be. We all know how much politicians lie to cover themselves!!! This is evidently such a time. STOP KILLING INNOCENT AND DEFENCELESS ANIMALS AND PROVE US ALL WRONG, SHOW YOU HUMANITY IF YOU STILL HAVE ANY!!!!!
Such lies, I run a small charity for stray animals with a few friends in The Netherlads…! We help rescue dogs from Istanbul, Rhodes, Spain and wherever else we can…! Not only is the Istanbul City Council lying but they also treat the stray animals in there so called shelters in a bad way…! xx

your conduct against stray-animals is criminal and is against TUKISH LAW!! we will never accept what happens inISTANBUL or in LULEBURRGAZ etc.!!!!!
