Bu, Sahip Ç?kal?m!’?n potansiyeline bir kan?t.
Sadece 2 hafta önce Lakita ?spanya’da bir bar?naka ya??yordu. Dünyan?n her yerindeki ço?u bar?nakta oldu?u gibi buradaki ko?ullar da onun için uygun de?ildi.
Sahip Ç?kal?m! uluslararas? a??n? kullanarak Lakita’n?n kurtar?lmas?n? ve sahiplenilmesini organize etti. Önce onu arabayla Endülüs’ten Madrid’e getirdik, buradan da Kanada’da Edmonton’a uçtu.

Önümüzdeki aylarda Canada ve Amerika’da bir sahiplendirme a?? kuraca??z. Bu nedenle ?spanya veya Türkiye’den bu ülkelere uçacak gönüllülere ihtiyac?m?z var.

This is proof of the potential of the Let’s Adopt Network.
Two weeks ago Lakita was living on a Spanish generic xanax walmart shelter. The conditions there, like in the vast majority of shelters around the world, were not suitable for her.
Let’s Adopt, by using its international network coordinated her rescue and adoption. First we drove her from Andalusia to Madrid, and from there we flew her to Edmonton Canada.
And here she is.. we received this great picture barely an hour ago…
Following the North American Journey of Federico Garcia Lorca, a poet in New York, Lakita is now an andalusian dog in Canada. We wish her the best in her new life with Grace.
Let’s Adopt!… amazing people.
Over the coming months we will establish a network of adoption into Canada and the US. We will therefore need flight volonteers to fly
into any location in the US and Canada from Turkey and Spain.

I am so happy for her, but can’t help thinking: how about all the dogs in the shelters in the US and in Canada, who also is in need of help!
I would love if we could set up a network where we could help shelterdogs from EU in EU and in that way hopefully the sheltered dogs in USA and Canada would have a better chance of help???

Hayvanlarin bulunduklari bolgelerde sahiplendirilmelerinin daha dogru oldugunu dusunuyorum. Uzun yolcukluklarin pek cok hayvani gerdigini hepimiz biliyoruz ve de yola harcanan parayla hasta bir hayvan tedavi ettirilebilir… Ancak buradaki azmi kesinlikte takdir ettigimi de belirtmeliyim.

Lakita, you lucky girl! Edmonton is bloody cold in the winter, but you have found warm hearts. Her biggest break was Let’s Adopt, and all the wonderful people who are working for her and others like her.
I would like to reply to Anne-Marie Larson who rightfully commented that dogs in shelters in the US and in Canada are also in need of help. I would liken this to refugee status. The fact is, we need to change laws worldwide into humanitarian ones for ALL. Until that happens groups like HSUS, Sea Shepherd, Let’s Adopt, ADAPTT, SPCA, IFAW etc. are the only advocates for the invisible and voiceless animals that would slide into oblivion without notice.
Lakita is a wonderful success. She’s proof that we’re capable of reaching across oceans to improve the life of one. Why can’t we improve the lives of all?
bence muhtesem bir sey yapıyorsunuz , evet uzun mesafeler bazen maddi sonuclar dogurabilir ama kesinlikle bu konuda bende elimden geleni yapmak icin gonullu oldugumu bildirmek isterim, sizlerin bu azmini ayakta alkışlıyorum.bu organizasyon bu tür olaylar ile daha da geniş uye aglarına sahip olacak. yakında isvicreye tasınıyorum bende oradan size elimden geldigince destek olmaya calısırım ve gerekirse turkıye ısvıcre gıdıs gelıslerınde belkı yeni aileler buluruz bu yavrularımıza.
