His name is Brandy, a girl’s name for a poor old boy that today finds himself barely able to move.
A life lived on the streets after being abandoned by those that used to love you. Years of abuse, of mistrust, of kicks where it hurt, years of being only visible to those that would find [leasure in abusing you.
People used to see you running down the streets, terrified... noone offered you a hand until it was too late.
The Streets. Fear set and never left you. Afraid of the human touch, terrified of human feet, thankful when noone hits you.
Seeking love, seeking kindness, seeking company and a warm bed. Was that too much ask?
And what did you get? Fear tattooed in your heart, and a broken back. So lucky Brandy… so lucky.
A broken toy… to them you are now nothing but a broken toy.
There are very few surgeons in that can perform this operation with the right guarantees but we must try.
Because right now, the only two alternatives to this surgery is a life filled with pain, or death.
Chance of success? 50 – 50… a lottery that will be won, or lost, on the operation table.

Everything is going well, we are about to reach the affected area where we will decompress the area

The operation went very well, Brandi had a good first day, he was very calm and painkillers are working well…
Now we must wait for swelling in the area to go down…
He is very weary and scared, it’s going to need a lot of work to make him trust people fully again…

Awwwwwwwwwwwww. He seems to be afraid but full of hope in the same time. So sad.
I really hope that the surgery will be fine for him. I was also thinking about an alternate way for his paralyzed legs. Is it impossible to provide him a wheel cart like we see sometimes for paralyzed dogs and cats? I know that it would not ease the pain he feels, but the rolling cart would allow him to live (I don’t know if I’m really understandable, as my english is not good).
Anyways, I really really cross my fingers for him. He seems to be a so sweet dog.
I can give him a home if hasn’t got any. I live in the Basque Country and I’d take care of him.

My heart breaks for this sweet precious boy, looks a little like a schnauzer and they are the sweetest dogs ever, I just teared up thinking how cruel and abusive people can be I hope the bad Karma goes around, no animal should be abused like this God love him and I pray for his healing and a successful surgery.

This is so sad… I would love to get my hand on the people that abused this little baby… I can’t stand when people is mean to animals… I wish i could take him into my house… he would have all the love that he wanted, he would have a warm bed and lots of food to eat….i would give him all my love… praying for this little guy..
Omg this is so very sad. I have a rescue girl who I found five years ago totally emaciated and full of fleas and lice. I took her in and got her well with a lot of vets bills. She I is now a very happy healthy loving dog who is totally bonded with me. I am on a disability pension and can’t afford a donation just yet but Will make a donation on my next pay fortnight. Every little bit Will help fund poor Brandy’s operation. Until then he Will be in my thoughts and prayers. Pleaser keep us posted on how he is doing. I still can not believe how cruel people can be to defenceless animals. I get so angry when I read such sad stories. I have 5 wonderful cats and a parrot.They are all loved looked after and kept in a warm home.

Please could I adopt him ? I am disabled so understand his pain and lack of mobility. I could give him a loving home where he would eat the best doggie food to suit his needs, he could play with m little cocker poo and cocker spaniel. I seen this dog he looked so much like my dog that passed away last sept 2012, Its a shame people take there anger out on a innocent animal. What kind of dog is Brandy? He is adorable. Brandi is in a foster home in Jumilla, Murcia. He’s doing amazing. I will try to get a video and pictures… he walks normally now.. amazing really.. I ll get it and let you know.
