Darkness has swallowed Tigger. Can we turn the end into a beginning?

Every day we depend on strangers. Strangers serve us in shops, they drive the car beside us and they look after our kids. We depend on them to treat us fairly, keep us safe and be kind.

But what if a stranger was all that stood between you and death?

Tigger was born on the streets. We will never know how he lost his mom or why his health deteriorated to the point of him going blind.

What we do know is that a kind stranger saw Tigger stumbling around, bumping blindly into walls, meters away from a busy street and roaring cars.

He fit in the palm of her hand — emaciated, filthy and wrapped in spiderwebs. The stranger never blinked. She scooped the kitten off the street and whisked him off to safety.

Tigger has been diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, responsible for 99% of stray kittens losing their sight.

There is no hope for Tigger’s eyes, but is there hope for Tigger?

Yes, there sure is. Just like Sully, and Martin, Tigger can have an awesome, amazing, incredible life — full of love, toys, experiences, smells, sounds, feelings and tastes!

Tigger urgently needs enucleation surgery, which will relieve the terrible pressure his swollen eyes are causing, cleaning out the damaged fragments of eye tissue, and suturing the eyelids closed to prevent further contamination. (Unfortunately he is too young and weak to be given painkillers.) His respiratory infection must be controlled in order to stop it causing further damage to his fragile body.

We are working on finding the fastest option to get him to our clinic, as he was rescued in another city. Please donate today to help him get help as soon as he arrives.
