2. Extremely disturbed to see this video, how can humans be so appalling? I wish great sorrow upon the person who did this to the innocent animal. At the same time I am grateful that she was rescued before the worse could happen, you guys did a brilliant job!!

25. Hi Viktor, I live in the UK and I have 3 rescue cats! I could quite happily give the horrible person who did this the same treatment he gave this poor defenceless cat! 37. I too become enraged at the brutality in which some people engage – to animals and to each other. I too, in my weakest moments would like to do to the perpetrator the kind of harm we see done to Maggie, in some pretty creative ways.

    But I am also seeing that we engage so much in our righteous and well deserved rage that we can’t see the beauty around us, the animals who do recover and offer their love once again, the people who even without acclaim go to extraordinary lengths to save animals, each other, and sometimes even the damaged and demented individuals who do this kind of thing.

    I am not noble enough to love the sick brute who did this, but I also am learning (the hard way) that holding onto anger is like poisoning yourself and expecting the other person to die (a quote from some Buddhist luminary or another). I am not condoning, excusing, or making light of the horrific nature of this torture, and I firmly believe that the perpetrator should be brought to justice, but I also firmly believe that our energies should be directed to supporting the good we see – in those of us who come forward and donate to the care of animals we don’t even know, those who adopt and care for the survivors against all odds, those who rescue animals and those who take in rescues, and even those who just treat their own animals with love and kindness.

    I’m off to donate once again and to pray for peace for all animals, including humans

50. Viktor, I just read the note you posted on FB about giving out your vet info to that jerk. There is not a one of use here that disputes the good you do. Should anyone ever question you or your ethics, 1, tell them to go look up all the fur babies you have saved and then adopted out, 2, send them my way and I would be ever so happy to give them a good verbal lashing, and bets of all, 3, tell the to go f*** off (or the equivalent in his/her native tongue, LOL)

    Like they would euthanize their mother/father/sister/brother/etc. if he/she was in a car crash and had multiple life threatening injuries.

    I am sorry this happened to you, but please know, the rest of us so appreciate all the wonderful life-saving interventions you do.

56. I have a cat who had an unsheathing accident (from a pane of glass), from his neck down over his shoulder and through to his abdomen. He made a miraculous recovery and once healed, you’d never know he’d almost died.

    I’m keeping fingers crossed that Maggie recovers similarly and then finds a loving home to give her the life she deserves. Such a beautiful cat. I wish I could take her in, but my 3 cats are enough to handle in my current state of health. Small donation sent. It’s all I can afford right now.

    1. Hi Jenny… Maggie is doing well… this morning we had to sedate her again to cure her neck throughly… her injuries evolve well but she remains quite scared of people.. I need to take few pics, just have some of today´s procedure.. She´s well, up update soon.

I already have more cats than I can take care of, as I feel they all need more love than one person can offer in a day (I have 6) but I do my best. I am NEVER AFRAID, when Animals are treated by Dr. Viktor..He is the BEST DOCTOR, God has given to us to HELP THE ANIMALS..I have been on this Website for a long time, I Love it and all the Staff working with Dt. Viktor, because they are there to Help the Animals, even though the Owners say to,put them down..I don’t like that word, so I hate using it..I can see Maggie is in terrible pain, while the person/s are probably laughing at us, but we know through Gods plans, that we do what we must, and fight for the Animals, just like if they were ours..I think it is terrible, but who know what others think..I hope it’s positive, but I will leave it there..I know Maggie is in for a complete recovery..She is a fighter, and with Our help, she will come out of this with Flying Colors..Till she is ready for people to Love her, and maybe be that Forever Parent, I will keep the Hope and Understanding, for where there is a Will, ther is a Way..I just want to Thank Dr. Viktor for his dedication for all the Animals in his Hospital, and when he has to rescue them, he is on his way..Not too many People do these things, but he does, and that is being a Good Person to me..I hope to hear from Dr. Viktor on the process of Maggie’s recovery, and I hope it doesn’t take so long, till she is ready to go..Maggie has gone thru a terrible piece of torture, something that’s notneeded her way..We must involve the people, to make sure nobody does the wrong things..Animals are People, they have everything we do, so if you feel pain, they do also..I will be going now, and again—-THANK YOU to Dr. Viktor and his Staff, for going out on the limb and rescuing Miss Maggie Mae..
