“The fear of sporting failure is worse than the fear of death itself”

So let´s play a game… Rescue of the Day!

After all these years Let´s Adopt! Global needs no introduction. The last hope for animals that find themselves at the end of the road. A network of people across the world working as one to achieve what most would consider impossible. Taking on only the direst of cases, often needing the kind of surgeries out of reach for most rescue groups and their animals.
This video gives you a glimpse into what 2013 was like for our animals.

Years after years of daily work… we have built a wonderful network. But we have shortcomings…

Finding the best homes is a challenge for every rescue group, and more so in our case. Our animals are special, they have gone through the deepest of hell and come out victorious, so they deserve nothing but the best possible homes. Adopting one of our animals is not a right that can be bought paying a fee…  it´s a privilege.

The quality of our boarding facilities is second to none, and so are our wonderful foster homes but we want to greatly reduced the time it takes us to find homes for our animals so we have come out with something that, if it catches on, should be both fun, motivating and would help our animals to a great re-start in life!

Every day at around midday European Time time I will come up with a Dog or cat of the Day. Then, during that day each one of us will become an integral part of a worldwide rehoming team. WE WILL ALL do our best to find a home for that animal, it can be done through our pages and personal social media profiles and through our personal networks, families, friends, neighbours.

Candidates must apply in their own words to: viktor@myletsadopt.com  telling me everything about themselves and their family of animals.

Every family will have to meet our adoption criteria and the adoption be approved by the LAG Adoption Committee.

The Number of homes found will be published at the end of each day. At the end of January the person that will have helped us find more final homes for our animals, the WINNER will receive a return ticket to either Spain, Indonesia, Turkey or Bulgaria and will act as flight volunteer to bring some of our animals home. The winner will also be given a specially designed Facebook Banner identifying him as winner of our event.

So… let´s begin..

Our First Dog of the Day… Second of January 2014 is…

HUTCH!!(READ HIS STORY HERE) !!!

Let´s find him a home!!!

Please write to me on Viktor@myletsadopt.com  Good Luck!!!

Adoption Criteria:

To ensure that Let´s Adopt! has a very specific set of adoption criteria:

1. Family MUST have an existing animal.
2. Our animals MUST live inside the home, have a family life. Gardens are nice but the animal will sleep inside, as part of the family.
3. Our animals MUST be fed a RAW diet (www.rawfed.com). This is health-oriented requirement
and finally…
4. The family will be a non-smoking family. Second hand smoke kills and makes miserable the lifes of both humans and animals. Our animals have already gone through too much in their short life, at least now they will enjoy a clean crisp air in their new home.

I love donating to help rescue these animals, I hope whoever wins refuses the trip and puts the winnings back into more rescues. I would
If I had more room for pups (3 rescues already) I would gladly take him in!

    1. Viktor Larkhill says:

We have come up with a very interesting idea… the person that wins will bring some animals home on his way back. So it´s not about winnings, it´s about being part of a rescue mission. It´s not a raffle either.. whoever wins will have to seriously work for it…
      It´s going to be fun!!!

I would love to adopt . I have had many cats and now have 2 senior cats that I adore. I have not had dogs, however my son and grandaugter have dogs and I am very close to them, I consider them my grand and great grand dogs. I have watched and kept my granddaughters dog overnight.. I love animals. my cats are kept in doors and have the run of the house. I consider animals family. my home is theirs, my back yard is fenced in. I have a single home and am alone.
I think what you do is wonderful and very special. my heart goes out to all these animals.

  5. Hi Viktor
Just wondered if we could have an update on some of the animals you rescued in 2013. I donate a small amount to each animal and would love to know there progress. In particular, Axel?
Of course I will share the animals that need rehoming x

    1. Viktor Larkhill says:

Dear Nikki… we try to update as often as we can through our FB page and through the animal´s particular blog. We tend to update a couple of times or more after the operation and then just as they are going home and when they settle… we have so many cases at the moment that its very difficult to keep things up to date. In any case drop me an email on viktor@myletsadopt.com , tell me which animals you need an update on and I will tell you personally.
      X

  6. Brilliant idea, I am going to post them all over my pages.

LAG is definitely the most amazing rescue mission !!

Good luck everyone and I hope all the gorgeous animals are rehomed .

Happy New Year all LAG members and fans

  10. I shall continue to post your animals but if I ever won, no prize would be necessary. Allowing me to adopt Mechi (Little Bear) was prize enough. I look forward to continuing to support LAG and sharing my home with more of your fur babies…
