We have named her Dani… and we really hope we found her in time.
She was wandering scared along the streets of Istanbul. Her eyes were terribly infected, and had we found her just a few days later, it would have been impossible to treat her, she would have been blind.
One her eyes is in a terrible condition caused by the terrible herpes virus… we don’t know yet if we will be able to save that eye…
Right now the priority is to save at least one of them, and make sure she doesn’t loose vision completely.
Dani is a wonderful cat, and after all, she has quite been quite lucky to find us, just a few more days and she would have been blind without a chance to ever see again.
We need your help to fix Dani’s vision, and we also hope, that these terrible pictures will be shared wide enough to reach that special someone that will open her home to Dani forever.

Update October 18…
Dani was found right in time.. we had to operate one of her eyes but it was highly successful and she recovered well…
Here she is… beautiful Dani, hanging out in her new home with her new friend, and ahead of her, many years of happiness….

for all the insecure ones( but mostly John) if you feel that way do not send in anything Even the United Nations have been victims and perpetrators of scams. If you want to cooperate with a for sure thing stand outside of a vets office and pay someone else’s bill. Georgina sent 5 as she said hoping it will go to the good cause. I myself rescue and tend to them and pay out of pocket. That is my contribution but love to hear about these stories. Sometimes they bring me down sometimes (like this one) they cheer me up.
