Let’s call him Mr. Bone.
Mr. Bone has been following Let’s Adopt! for quite a while now and he is aware of the impact of this group amongst the pet owner’s community so Mr. Bone had an idea… Let’s call Viktor Larkhill and ask him to become a marketeer for our brand. Let’s put a banner on Let’s Adopt! in exchange for a fee!.
It has taken me exactly 2 minutes to explain Mr. Bone that Let’s Adopt! is not for rent, that I am a raw feeder and that therefore, this group will NEVER support or sponsor any commercial pet food company. Doing so would be a betrayal to the principles that define who we are and this is something that is not about to happen.
There is a number of banners on the right side of the Let’s Adopt Turkish blog. Let me explain you why they are there.
The clinics that are promoted in Let’s Adopt! are there not because of any commercial interest, but as a way for us to reward their incredible work on behalf of the animals in Turkey. Each and every one of those clinics has helped us at times when our animals needed an extraordinary vet to help them pull through. The vets in those clinics have gone, time and again, beyond the “call of duty”, they are our friends and the backbone of the rescue operations carried by this group.
Having their names on our blog is an honor to me.
There are three more banners towards the bottom that have nothing to do with veterinary medicine. Veribir is a Technology company co-founded by one of our members. They approached us months ago at a time when our previous internet provider had vanished on thin air. It was a traumatic event, all our work, our content was lost. I posted a note on my Facebook page and within minutes I received a great email from Faruk, putting himself and his company at our disposal. Veribir hosts our blog and provides us with a level of technical support we could only dream of.
Then is Tapho Studio, a designing firm run by our friend Tayfun Cimen. They are responsible for the current look and feel of this blog. The blog is a work in progress and we are always looking to improve its functionality, Tayfun has been a great help to us, this is why he is there.
And then, last but not least.. there is a funny looking fish at the bottom, Qefal. No.. it is NOT a fish restaurant… Qefal is a social media advisory firm run by two people who believe in the world-changing power of ideas. One of those people is me. That tiny company is the brains behind Let’s Adopt!, it created the idea, developed it to what it is today and together with another great online agency whose name I will announce when the time comes, is currently working on an ambitious project that should take Let’s Adopt to the next level, a level we could only dream of two years ago when we started. Qefal is also the single largest sponsor of this group, both in terms of time and finance.
All of those people are making a difference in the lives of animals and humans around the world…every day…
