On February 25 we launched our 13 days campaign, designed to rally people around the world in support of a single dog, Brindi, unfairly put on death row by Peter Kelly, the Mayor of Halifax, Canada.
The campaign and the way we coordinated protest in Facebook and Twitter was a massive success and completely overturned public opinion in favor of Francesca Rogier, Brindi’s owner..
On July 9, just 19 days shy of 2 years Brindi went home…
We always had the sense of certainty that in the end justice would prevail. And so it did.
Francesca has asked us to thank all Let’s Adopt! members for their unwavering support. Brindi and herself will be happy to receive you all in their beautiful home now that they will have the chance to end those long delayed renovations.

Viktor, thank you and your team world wide for your help and support to get to this day of celebration of Brindi’s Homecoming. You and your team were are so awesome, you are amazing and you will always have a special place in my heart. I love the video 🙂 Was the problem resolved with the others being able to view it? I hope so, because of all you Let’s Adopt members untiring support, you all have contributed to getting Brindi home to Francesca <3 Bless you all <3
Hooray for Brindi and Francesca. People, petitions, e-mails and phone calls in very large numbers do work sometimes. A whole village is a force to be reckoned with.
Have lots of fun girls.
Tamara, Im pretty sure that petitions are mostly a waste of time.
In this campaign we advocated for targetted action and use of social media to shout this injustice to the world.. it worked!
Thank you Viktor, and all the Let’s Adopt members for all your tremendous help and support in geting Brindi freed!
Bravo! Another angel rescued. Thanks to all that provided that for her. The results are so obvious, as is your work that provides such hapy homecomings. I know they are few and far between. YOur work and effortsd are recognized, appreciated and inspirational. Again, THANK YOU!
Thanks Anne, we do what we can.. and most of the time what we can’t… 🙂
We all have to say “thank you” to this team that dedicates itself when we cannot. Just want to say a personnel thank you from my heart. Your dedicatioion is certainly formidable. Your love for this cause is deeply admired and noted. In this day and age when “we” are in too much of a “hurry-up” mode, your diligence is appreciated more than you know. Thank you for being the “Angels for the Angels”. Love and blessings .
Wonderfull great news :-))))))
As a Canada resident I am sooooo happy to hear this…thanks for everyone who contributed to Brindi`s freedom….Great job….
I am so thrilled to learn that Brindi got to home with her Mom. Thank you for letting me know.
I am so thrilled that Brindi FINALLY GOT TO GO HOME!!!! I’m sure her family isover heoon with happiness. This kind of success story keeps us animal activists the desire to “keep on truckin'” for ALL animals!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!
