Rescued from Hasdal: 20 liras

Dear Friends,

Those who were yesterday at the demonstration in Hasdal, and all those who watched the pictures of the event will remember the three little puppies who were found at the door of the shelter.

They were three little fur balls, as sweet as it gets.. incredibly cute.. unfortunately upon close inspection we could see things were not well..

One of them, a young female had her lower jaw dangling, completely broken, the skin of the jaw had also been torn apart.

The other, a second female was also in a very bad state, in her case she had a broken leg AND a massive hernia in her stomach.

The third one was in a better shape and he was rescued by one of our members.

The two dogs in worst conditions were taken to the vet, and as it tends to happens in those cases all the responsibility has been dumped on me. It seems logical to people to dump all financial responsibility for their rescues and I am now responsible for the bills, and for the rehoming of those two animals.

We are going to handle things differently this time. There were quite a few of us at Hasdal yesterday. You know precisely who you are, most of you got to touch and handle those puppies.

I am going to request from you something. I want each one of you to send 20 liras to our vet. This should help covering part of the bills for the treatment of those two puppies. The group will rehome them following our usual procedures.

Very often people ask me.. how do you pay for all of this? Normally is me, sometimes, very rarely, people help. This time it will be different. This time is YOUR chance to make a difference.
