Bobby lived with Granny and Granddad.

They loved him and he guarded them in return. Bobby had a little house and enough food. Life was good.

One day Granny passed away. A few years later Granddad followed her into the Beyond. Bobby was left alone in the whole wide world.

Granny and Granddad passed away and left Bobby alone

Bobby now lives on borrowed time. A family travels 200 km every weekend to bring him food and change his water.  He dislikes cats and they own three, so they cannot offer him a home.

Bobby is 13 years old, in perfect health but almost fully blind. His days are spent roaming the abandoned garden, sniffing and searching for what is no longer there. At night he curls away in his little dog house and listens to the emptiness surrounding him.

Winter is coming.

Bobby’s water will start freezing. Subzero temperatures with no people nearby could prove fatal for this old buddy.

We are desperately seeking a foster or forever home for Bobby. He loves people and kids. He cannot wait for the weekend when he throws himself at his angels’ feet and begs for belly rubs. Other dogs don’t bother him but he does not like cats. We are also looking for solutions in Bobby’s country. Bulgaria is, however, not an easy place for dogs, let alone ageing no-breed dogs.

Be an angel for Bobby. Please adopt or foster him.

Write to us on adoptions@myletsadopt.com if Bobby has touched you. Should we find the right place for him, we can organize transport to almost any place in the world.

We’ve tested and examined him thoroughly and have discovered some health concerns.

Bobby will need some treatment and medication

Bobby’s liver test and ultrasound results are off and there is sediment in his gall bladder. He is receiving antibiotic for the infection which the liver tests could be indicating and medication which aims to flush the sediment out of his gall bladder. We will know more in about a week.

  1. I feel for Bobby & wish I could take him but I have 4 cats, & a 1 year old hyper boxer mix that would most likely drive him crazy, she always wants to play & she plays rough, don’t think it would be too good for him to fly to the U. S. at his age, he is a good looking boy & I truly hope someone opens up their heart & helps him, he deserved better since he lost his family

I live in Zaleski, Ohio. We have all older dogs that no one wants because of their age. We love the older ones, they have so much love to give. I ant afford to ship him here, but I’ll adopt him, and love him for the rest of his life if you can get him to Ohio.
