Bella was not alone the day she was abandoned on the fields. Maxy was with her.
We have received confirmation that Susan Callaghan placed three dogs under Onur Salih Karadag care, Bella, Maxy and a third animal whose name we don’t know yet.
The three of them have now dissapeared.
Bella was the only one under our responsibility. Maxy was Susan’s dog.
She had rescued him in November 2009 and decided to keep him.
Unfortunately for the dogs Susan run into some sort of legal trouble and had to place them under the care of the veterinarian Onur Salih Karadag.
The moment she did we contacted the clinic and told them we would take care of the dogs. The vet told us not to worry as he would place them on a good foster home.
Instead he released them into the open fields.
Maxy was five or six months old. He was released into the wild unneutered and without an identification.
Maxy is too, in all likelihood, lost forever.
Here is Maxy’s story…
One should never give up hope! I understand that the ‘forests’ are a hard place, but it is possible, it is, that these pups can be found! DO NOT give up hope and look, search and place flyers with anreward! I am willing to send $50.00 to start off a reward for helping to find these pups!! Keep looking!! Keep searching!! And NEVER let anyone know what kind of “vet” did this to these animals! He’s is irresponsible and a very cruel man~
My heart breaks for Bella and Maxi – and for all the others too. I can’t understand why someone who has trained to be a vet to save lives would do such a thing. Please keep looking, I wish I could fly over and help you.
I too will contribute to a reward fund if you will set it up! Insist that the vet tell you where he took them – can you not make some sort of deal provided that you find them?
words are not enough,be aware of the vet not the dog.don’t want to loose hope ,hard to say my feelings I am so so sorry..
This is just so tragic and heartbreaking!
I also do not want to give up hope, however! Perhaps some volunteers can rally and keep looking (wish someone with a search dog could come forth, get scent of Bella (and the others) and perhaps lead you to Bella and the others! No, I do NOT feel this is a bit dramatic! These are living, breathing sentient beings and I feel they are just as worthy of rescue as humans (imo). Hopefully people can put out food and water at various locales, etc. Wish I was there to help in the search…
Oh i hope you find them, my heart goes out, but please dont make any deals with this devil who set them loose to fend for themselves, he cant be trusted a second time.
Viktor, not sure if you have the resources, but what if you placed food out & perhaps live traps, in the area that Bella & Maxy were dumped? I’m wondering if the food would attract them?
I think search and rescue dogs are a great answer if any are willing to help. They may be your best hope if you have the dogs scent. Time is something that cannot be wasted. How long have the dogs been out there?
As I look at these two pups eyes, both have such innocent eyes I need to wonder how many times this vet practice has done this. I can not fathom a vet behaving like this. I am sad and angry, I think the people who live in the area need this clinic’s name and workers who knew about this out and spreading like wild fire. They can never be trusted to watch an animal again. I also guess a valuable lesson learned was never trust even a vet to say they have a foster home without a home check by a trusted volunteer or area rescue. We do them here for rescues as a courtesy for each other, our country is so large.
I am holding out hope that these two and any others he dumped which I fear will be the case have found shelter and running water or better a caring person to help them. Please search for them and let the local public know what happened. The power of truth is needed for help and protection of others.
These videos of Bella and Maxy lead me to tears. Maxy is a cutie.
Could someone give me a reason for the vet’s actions. Ignoring the possibility that he is a psychotic or sadist, there must be a monetary reason.
Can someone give me a rational reason for his actions. I don’t like his photo. He has cruelty and malevolence in his eyes.

In any case, some things follow no logic… this is one of them.
This is heartbreaking. It is such a betrayal of trust of these two wonderful dogs. How could a “veterinarian” dump un-spayed/neutered dogs, he DOES Know that this will only create a much bigger problem….
My view of humans gets dimmer and dimmer with each story I read :(((
I feel like I am going to be sick after reading this, how vile, how could anyone do this to these innocent dogs?!
Viktor, if there is need for funds to continue the search, I would contribute as well. If you set up a fund I will share with all friends. We can do this.
Heartbreaking – is this a real photo of how many animals roam the fringes of the city..? 🙁
I am so heart broken after watching this video. These little pups have suffered so much. I pray that they are found. Don’t give up. Keep going to where they were dropped off. Keep calling their names. Put food and water out for them. Talk to people. JUST DON’T GIVE UP
Furthermore, I hope that the veterinarian is prosecuted for this act, He should never be allowed to treat animals. He is cruel and sadistic.
j’aurais aimé avoir des nouvelles et vous demandez si vous pouviez attaquer ce veterinaire en justice ou le faire radier de son ordre ca lui donnerait une bonne lecon
