Dear Friends,

As you probably know Let’s Adopt! has stopped all re-homing activities in Turkey. After two years and thousands of rescues we feel we have reached capacity here. The Turkish animal lover community has great potential but it needs maturing and needs to absorb new ideas.

From now on we will focus on two fronts:

1. the rescue and rehabilitation of blind, paralyzed and handicapped animals.
2. Educating the global community about companion animal issues, with an specific focus on the plea of Turkish animals.

I want to request the help of our German friends in finding homes to the last remaining animals in our list. Some of them are in foster homes, the majority of them are staying in pensions at a cost we simply, xanax generic brand names cannot afford.

Please have a look at our adoption list and adopt one of our last 10 dogs. If you are considered a suitable adoptant one of our volunteers will personally deliver the animal to your home, anywhere in the world (except the UK, Australia or Japan). Please note: Let’s Adopt! DOES NOT APPLY A REHOMING FEE. Our rescue operations and transport to the final family are financed through the voluntary contributions of our members. Sometimes adoptants contribute, but this is not, by any means, an obligation.

Please have a look at our adoption list and feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.

Regards

Viktor Larkhill

  1. Hi! Maybe I am not well-informed about the animal issues in your country, but I cannot understand why the listed adoptable animals waiting for homes are even on a list. They are beautiful dogs.

Lois… because here people buy dogs and keep them for two weeks.. then they throw them away.

Oh DEAR GOD VIKTOR,Please do not stop!
What will happen to all these poor Animals who still need a home?

    1. Viktor Larkhill says:

Same thing that is happening now. They will not have a home.
Without foster homes there is no way we can continue rescuing turkish dogs. We have no foster homes because turkish animal lovers are extremely selfish and dont consider opening their homes to an animal on a temporary bases.
We will continue educating the turkish population about animal welfare and continue developing our international networks so that more dogs are saved in those countries.
In Turkey well focus on blind and handicapped supported by our international network.
Everyone could see this moment would come. There is only so much you can do with the little support of a few.
