His name is Clyde and he is one of the Let’s Adopt! rescues.
Today, he was supposed to be playing in the garden of his beautiful new home in Pittsburgh, instead, and due to an unforgivable succession of bad decisions he is somewhere in the streets of Istanbul, running for
his life, completely and absolutely terrified.

As always, at the bottom of this tragedy we find the same culprit. Irresponsibility.
I cannot do much else other than accepting that, as creator of Let’s Adopt! I am the person ultimate responsible for his fate, if Clyde is never found or dies it will, be my fault for creating this network.

Clyde, Puppy lost in Istanbul

But this is no time for self-pity.

We need to find Clyde and get him to his home safely. But to do this I need you all to internalize the situation. I need you all to think Clyde is your own dog, the dog you know so well and you love so much. I need you to imagine your dog running desperately in the unforgiving streets of Istanbul. Trying to avoid the fast traffic, cars and buses, and having to look behind his back for cruel people that throw stones and chase him away… or for those who will want to injure him, stab him, kick him to death… rape him.

Clyde is brown, has a white patch on his chest, legs and tail. He disappeared on Saturday from Macka Park, Nisantasi and we suspect he may be around the area. But he could be just about anywhere, Besiktas, Taksim…

I need you to give a careful look at these images and video and take note of this number: 0536 8199970

He knows his name: Clyde. If you see him approach him calmly talking to him, and call us.

Help us find Clyde. Take note of this number 0536 8199970 and call us if you see him.

please share …

Viktor

  1. This makes me feel sick with worry.. We must treat animals as small children, they have no way to make good decisions, we should be there protectors forever.

  2. my god I hope you will find him!

  3. Yes I do enjoy your sight, unfurtunately there is a share with other sites blocking your story as it is right in the middle, perhaps you can remedy this irritating situation. I got to read most of this babies story, but had to fill in the words where the share is sitting. I will of course share this as much as possible. Good luck and I pray that you find him in time and as for those that would harm something so fragile helpless and inocent perhaps the death penalty would be most helpful and as for the ones that would rape , they should have that part of their bodies CUT OFF and this I’m sure would be most helpful as deterance to that kind of monsterousness. There are a great number of the two legged animals that are walking around that had best thank their lucky stars that I personally don’t have a say in what happens to their sorry A**es because I would be more than happy to give them just exactly what they deserve. Makes you stop and wonder who the true animals are on this planet. Well not me, I know who the true animals are, they are called people of the vilest low life existance. Good Luck sweet baby, I hope and pray that you find a kind soul that will give you shelter, protect, and love you as you deserve.God be with you and all the other victims on these lands. Thank you for all you do.

  4. How do you find a puppy in a city? I can imagine he is mine and how frantic I would be to find him. Please let me know…

  5. tina ilkilic says:

Oh my, Poor little man, im so sorry im not in Turkey to help with your search, praying for his safe return. xx

  6. I have found that showing his picture to the local school children is helpful. When one of our dogs jumped in the wrong car when she got frightened from fireworks and the car owner being so drunk didn’t see her until he got home (and those were the days before cell phones) his wife tried calling us (it was after midnight and we were out looking for her.) Anyway the next day İ went back with a photo and showed it to the kids in the school and one called me that evening and we found her. Keep looking and best wishes for finding him.

  7. What about search dogs ? Any possibility. Specially a blood hound if u are able to get one. Will pray and Share.
