Dear friends…

Last week I sent a desperate message on behalf of Genny, a Dobermann we rescued and that was in a critical condition fighting for her life against distemper.

We were very lucky we conducted an early test and that we applied the right treatment from the beginning.

Here are two pictures of Genny, one of them was taken last week, the second one was taken today.

More pictures here

I want to thank our vets, Ada Vet Clinik and Moda Clinic (http://modaveterinerklinigi.com/)  for being such amazing professionals and friends, our members who contributed towards the cost of Genny’s medication, but above all I want to thank the two wonderful girls, Cagri Sert and Elif Ayşe Üçer, who have nursed Genny back to health and taken care of her during the most difficult moments.

Genny is alive today because of Cagri and Elif… two amazing human beings.

Up to here the good side of the story… on the negative side, Songul Kotuklan, the “person” I took the dog from, continues sending SMS’s asking for payment!

Genny would have died long time ago had she been on the hands of that “indivual”… still… it seems she won’t stop trying to get some pennies out of us…

oh well…

  3. just wondering what type of treatment is used to treat distemper exactly? we had 2 pups when i was 10, a brother and sister, my father said they had distemper and had to be put to sleep, at that time i think there was no cure.
