I am so ugly that everyone hates me …
I am XANDERS and I have a shining, golden bell around my neck. It was put on my collar by my family so that they would always know where I am, because they used to care about me. Now, my family think I am vermin and will make them sick. They have thrown me away.
Xanders did once have a family as witnessed by his heavy chain collar and bell. But these people rarely fed Xanders or paid attention to him. Once he became ill and all his hair fell out, he was abandoned to his own fate, walking the streets, being frightened by mean people who wanted to hurt him, foraging in garbage and hiding in filthy gutters to soothe his hairless skin which was burning under the scorching sun.
Then, suddenly, Xanders met some kind people who gave him good food to eat and talked gently to him. Although mistrustful at first, hunger finally triumphed and Xanders approached warily to take a first bite from their hands. A leash was attached to Xanders’ collar and off he was taken to a cool, safe place generic xanax difference where there was more food and clean water. Xanders’ belly was full, his thirst was quenched, and soon he drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
Nothing bad will ever happen to Xanders again. He is safe with us now and has been given a thorough check-up at our clinic. Apart from being extremely malnourished and dehydrated, Xanders suffers from severe scabies and a skin infection.
Xanders will be given the very best treatment to heal him completely and turn him into a beautiful dog again, with a coat as shining as the golden bell he wears as a memento of his past life.

PLEASE TAKE THAT CHAIN OFF HIS NECK…PLEASE.
please remove that horrid chain from his neck….please.
These are the pictures when he was first discovered. The chain with the bell is very sad – all explained in the post. It was removed after the photos were taken. If you are a facebook user, here is the latest update on Xanders. Thanks for stopping by.
Where is this dog?
May God have mercy on this Lil angel , and may he always be happy, healthy and safe. Amen.
I am incredibly thankful your rescue took this pup in, what a HORRIBLE life he has had. Lets all hope his future is the best.
I firstly want to thank you and all f your staff for taking care of these beautiful babies. I worked in the field of child sexual abuse for 15 years and that was heart wrenching. I now look at the poor defenceless animals and can not comprehend how anyone can hurt them so. I would love to adopt Xanders and give him a home of love and safety. Never to be hurt again. I have taken in many rescue animals through out my lifetime. From dogs, cats, kittens that had to be bottle feed, ducklings, birds, lizards and any of God’s animals that needed help. I would love to adopt again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
