We received a courier in the morning. It was an overnight delivery sent to us from across the country by someone so desperate that thought sending a dog by mail would be the best thing to do.
And so the person put the dog in a cage and attached a handwritten note explaining how the family had lost everything, they had tried looking for help, family, friends, other rescues, but noone would help. In a last desperate attempt to save D´Artagnan, he found the address of our clinic and sent him on an overnight express delivery.
D´Artagnan is now in our hands. He had done everything he could. He begged us to give him a chance. He is a good dog he said… he´s funny, playful, loves kids and every dog he´s ever met. He knew we were different, he knew we wouldn´t euthanize him like others would, and that we would strive to find him the perfect home…

From the moment he arrived to us D´Artagnan set out to make friends and to make everyone happy… We discovered he was extremely social and that he LOVED to be in the company of big dogs…
So, knowing him well we set out to find the perfect home for him, it had to be one where he would have plenty of things to do, lots of adventure and where he would have big friends…
And so… D´Artagnan found the world´s best home…

What a Lovely Little boy !
My God….this baby’s parents were desperate to save him and I am so happy that they sent him to you….He is one of the sweetest dogs I have seen and I really hope he is adopted by some good, kind and loving person/people that will give him the wonderful home he so deserves…. He looks like he is very young and loves everyone….He would make a wonderul additon to a wonderful family. He obviously hasn’t eaten for a long time and his parents gave him a wonderful opportunity to be adopted and to live a full and loving life.
I would so love to adopt this little guy…he is just the right size to live in an apartment because I am a very active person and we would have so much fun going for walks, training him to come when called, running in an off leash park and just be loved beyond measure.
As I said, I would love to adopt this little boy so pease contact me and let me knowif he would be able to come to Canada.
Thank you so very much for your consideration……If he can find a home close to where he is right now and the person/people are approved and are good, kind and loving people, I hope they adopt him and give him a wonderful home.

This email made me laugh and cry. He is a beautiful baby and so precious. I think his previous owners did the right thing shipping him to Let’s Adopt Global. I do hope he has found his furever home. I am not in a situation to be able to contribute financially but I will gladly share this with everyone I know in hopes that someone can help. What a beautiful boy and I am so happy he has found a good home. I feel really bad for his original owners as they must have really loved him to go drastic measures by shipping him to LAG. They did the best thing for this little darling by finding LAG in their desperation. Thank heaven for LAG.

He’s beautiful, don’t like his coat tho. Should not be wearing fur….real or fake. A true animal lover should know that.
