A street sweeper has found this precious baby laying down next to a garbage container. She was breathing heavily… her tongue was sticking out panting in pain and she was unable to move.
The man bent over and grabbed her softly in his arms. Every little move made her cry and with every whimper he felt more and more desperate but at the same determined to do something for the little pooch. We found him as he walking determined towards the vet.
He told us how he found her and asked us to help. He loved dogs he told us, but he never had one. Whenever he found dogs in the park he would pet them and give them small treats. Seeing Little Hannah in this condition broke his heart and he could barely hold back the tears.
We rushed her into the examination room, tests, X-rays, a Myelography followed to determine the exact location of the lesion. It´s a disk hernia between L3 and L4, and judging by the sensitivity in her legs and the intensity of the pain she is suffering the accident has been recent, one, two days maximum.
There is no time to waste. She must be operated immediately. Her overall health condition shows years of neglect but she seems in good enough condition to whit-stand the anaesthesia.
We have a very narrow window of opportunity here. 24 hours maybe. Not more. Longer than that and her chances of ever being able to walk will be less and less with every passing hour.
This is an urgent plea to ask for your help in saving Little Hannah´s life. An urgent and extremely delicate operation that will save her life.

Hannah was operated last week… it was a rushed and extremely delicate operation but everything went well..

This is just the beginning. Hannah needs to go through physiotherapy and rehabilitation right now. The operation was successful but it´s not over yet. Donate Please Donate so that she can continue receiving the best possible medical treatment.

What a terrible story. My vet last week that Hannah´s breed is very prone to this kind of injuries and so many of them are PTS because their owners don’t bother operating them.
It´s really sad.

I will send you a donation right now but my bigger statement is I think i was to adopt this little girl….I think she will be the perfect companion to our dog Charlie who was our first dog rescue last year and needs a play mate…I am partial to bulldogs and she needs a loving home….and we are it !

I would like to make a donation but can you just give a little more information like what vet, what state, who is in care of this little guy. I hate to see this little guy in pain but at the same time I want to make sure that this is an honest request for donations. There are so many out there that are scams.

The post took place yesterday. There are no updates, you asked for updates barely 45 minutes after it was first posted. Little Hannah is in Valencia Spain, awaiting operation…
I am so happy that an animal lover found this little Princess. Hannah’s cries of pain are overwhelming and heart breaking. I am happy that she is in your care now and will, without a doubt, receive the proper care she needs to once again be the happy carefree dog she used to be….This spine issue, is this normal for bulldogs or was she abused> This little dog is a treasure and she is now with the best people in the world that will be able to help her. Dear Viktor I donate monthly by paypal or Direct Debit, am not sure so do hope this will help Hannah, we would love to adopt Hannah but you might think with 2xPugs & 2x JR x’s + 4 cats it would be to much for Hannah as the young JR x is very playful; but she would certainly get all the love care with us & a wonderful vet if needed. I wanted to make sure that you did receive my donation to help Hanna to have her surgery. I also wanted to share that my Dachshund herniated her L-1/L-2 Disc in December. After trying conservative drug therapy/rest, it only got worse. We then took her to a Neorologist and she immediately did an MRI finding the severe.herniation. Surgery was done right away and I am THRILLED to say that she has regained the use
Of everything. She is walking/running etc. And is a very happy girl.
I feel Hanna is in GREAT HANDS ANC WILL DO GREAT TOO!

Yes.. when it´s a disk hernia there can be no conservative treatment. It´s all or nothing.
