I DON’T VOTE FOR ANIMAL KILLERS
Here is the logic… for years Kadir Topbas has shown the entire city of Istanbul that he is a man that won’t stand by his promises. It doesn’t matter if the promises are made to a group of animal lovers, to the press, to EU officials. Doesn’t matter. It’s just empty words.
Two weeks ago we launched the largest animal rights protest this country has ever seen, it was attended by thousands of people on the ground and followed on TV and Press by millions in this country. That protest was not the end of our campaign.. quite the contrary.. it was the beginning…
I DON’T VOTE FOR ANIMAL KILLERS is a statement of principles. Something that each and every single animal lover and honorable citizen not only of Turkey but of any country stands for. There are of course those that are happy with the current situation, the heartless, lying politicians that somehow manage to find their way onto municipalities not only in Turkey but the world.
With this campaign Kadir Topbaş reaches true international status and comes to represent the face of every single politician that, quite simply, chooses extermination and death instead of life and the implementation of viable solutions. The bearded man in the poster is not a person in particular, he represents each and every municipal employee massacring animals, whenever this may be.
This won’t be a short term campaign… we are fighting against someone that has lied and deceived the public repeatedly for years and has done NOTHING to stop this atrocity.
We have designed our poster in Turkish, English, French, German and Bulgarian. To begin with we would ask all our readers and members of Let’s Adopt around the world to please use one of this posters as their profile picture and spread it all over their social networks.
It is time to stop the horror in Istanbul, and for this we need YOU.

Please MAKE ONE IN ROMANIAN TOO . The text is “EU NU VOTEZ UCIGASI DE ANIMALE”. They are doing the same thing in Bucharest as in Turkey, there is not much difference!
it’s a bit weird…it’s only possible to vote for him when you live in turkey- so why the posters are in other languages? clearly you want to reach as much people as possible. but it’s not logical. the MUST be another way how people from other countries can help to avoid this man and bring him back to where he came from.
or maybe, just another idea, it’s possible to change the sentence on the poster from “i don’t vote….” into “i won’t vote for animal killers!” could be used as appeal to the turkish nation.
as i said: just my oppinion and my ideas- but better than “i don’t vote…” because no one else can vote for him than the turkish nation.

We’ve got them here in the United States. County/Municipal run shelters that should be closed down, abusive employees fired, the buildings burnt to the ground and salt spread over the area.
We elect our county/municipal leaders, and in some states we elect our judges. You know, the ones that are supposed to sentence according to the laws? Yet too many give convicted abusers a little slap on the wrist.
And, oh yeah, there are shelter employees and directors that are appointed to these jobs with cushy salaries and benefits. They don’t give a damn about the animals. Only their *portfolios*.
Doesn’t matter who’s face is on the poster. Evil will recognize themselves.

I have many friends in Turkey ,I know they never will vote for a man ,who is inhuman! major TOPBAS,it is necessary to CHANGE your actions in HASDAL and in the forest of istanbul!!

We have 20 inches of snow. The dog pound, shelters, resuces no one has tried to help me with this pit bull mix darling angel. I have tried for months but her abuse was so bad, that when i would get the lead out she would run. I am worried sick the whole state and states are disaster areas. -7 windchill, i have walked as far as i could. called her before it got this bad. I can not stand human beings anymore!!!! I emailed the Gov. in Turkey basically told them they made me sick and if this is what their country represents remind me to sanction them. But it doesn’t surprise when our own pound, nothing nobody gave a crap about Angel. I had to be careful she did not bite me so i didnt force the issue. She was aggessive at first not towards me so much now but couldnt take the chance of her biting me. I am so worried please needed prayers for Angel. Please god have her come to my door .. I have cats and aggressive dog but a big pen i can put her in. just need to get the lad on her w/o her running away biting me. if she bites me no shots very dangerous. sigh.. If their is a god please watch over all the abused animals. I am losing my faith here..
There must be another demo, and much more stronger… maybe bulgarians can help too!!! We are neighbors, come on…!
i WISH FOR NO KILL SHELTERS IN THE U.S.A. There has to be a way to get rid of all the un-caring people all over the world. As I said before they shouldn’t be called SHELTERS…they are MORTUARY’S.!!!
