As some of you know last weekend we lost Johnny to distemper.
He joins his sisters Frankie and Ania.
I don’t blame distemper for these deaths, it’s in its nature, that’s what it does.
I have, however, one, not, many people to blame. The distemper cases we are constantly forced to battle could, in the vast majority of cases, been averted through the correct precautions and procedures at the shelters in general, turkish shelters in particular. Vaccination is a simple procedure, its also real xanax online pharmacy inexpensive… but municipal vets all over the country don’t do it…
Why? Because, they, quite simple, don’t give a damm….
There will be no tribute for Frankie, Johnny and Ania. Their lives were too brief and they will only live in the memories of those who met them, even if briefly.
I will leave you with our tribute to Zoe, also lost to distemper. Anyone that has ever lost an animal will feel what we feel today.
This is a 3-tissue video.
Will I be there at the end of my “kid” lives?? You bet I will. I have had many dogs and cats and was there each time.
There is no describing the pain and sense of loss.
Johnny… Oe of the victims of Bolu shelter… There are hundreds of victims in Bolu shelter. 4-5-6-7-8 puppies die of DISTEMPER in Bolu shelter EVERY DAY. As you told Viktor, “Vaccination is a simple procedure, its also inexpensive… but municipal vets all over the country don’t do it…
Why? Because, they, quite simple, don’t give a damm….” those were your very true words. I know that they still do not make the vaccinations in the Bolu Shelter, and they still say that our shelter is PERFECT. Perfect deaths are still on the scene… I am the one that has ever lost an animal will feel what you feel today. They are all my children. and I feel like my children are dying one by one every day. I’m in a big sorrow. My heart is bleeding everyday, but, today my heart began to flood. Please, do not give up dealing with BOLU Viktor.
All three of those puppies gone. You have followed them too. I feel they can not be forgotten. We’ve alll watched them since they had little round noses.
They were precious and did not deserve to die. Is it not possible to get meds and give them yourselves to the pups and any dog that has not had the meds. Seems like all of them. It should not be to hard to get the meds. I think there are magazines you can get “shots” for dogs/cats. The vets won’t do it. People who are not vets can
Viktor … I have great respect and admiration for the efforts you and your team put in. We get to hear of so many vets not qualified to treat these babies and many other. So many incidents all over Turkey. Please expose those m….r f…..s so we, though apart, shall do our best to contribute until those bastards go to hell!
Thanks Pelin… this is a long and uphill battle but I promise you we will never give up.
xx
Any creation that has taken a breathe, leaves an imprint on someones heart in some way, no matter how big or small. Its so imortant that his imprint is not forgotten but used to better us as people. We can learn much when we open ourselves up to experience the love of a furrie.
I believe that Frankie, Johnny, Ania & Zoe ( and every other animal that has been brutalised by human hands & our indiference ) are now at peace in a place where theyre having the time of their lives, playing & having fun with their mates and knowing that they are loved.
Lets Adopt , You, gave them a second chance at life. They got to feel a tender touch, hear a gentle voice, feel the warmth of a human body, be cuddled, be fed, be part of a family but mostly be loved. Without your passion, dedication & determination they would have never experience anything but pain, fear & hunger. They would have know they were loved because of you guys.
The word is out about you guys and i believe before your org. is a huge fixure amongst the bigger boystalkinits only a matter of timeYou guys are getting more peoples attention, not just in Turkey and the other countries that support ‘Lets Adopt’ but worldwide…Im so so sorry for your loss and youre in my prayers. Take care. xox
