Sometimes you hear some members of Let’s Adopt! use a strange word in relation to our group. We use the word TRIBE. Today you are going to understand where this word comes from and what it means for us.
Today’s post is about possibilities. Possibilities afforded by technology and by a completely new and expanding communications environment.
I would very much like you to wath this TED talk by Seth Godin and reflect about its main idea.
I would also want you to reflect about the way you are using social networking tools. Are you making good use of them? Is your idea spreading? Are you a tribe leader?
Let’s Adopt! and its worldwide network is nothing but an spreading and unstoppable idea, the idea of No-Kill.
I really hope you enjoy what follows… go grab a cofee and soak it all in because, it will make you see the work of this group in a completely different light. EVERYTHING we do here is to spread and idea and build a Tribe.
After you’ve watched it, leave a comment in this blog, tell me if it made sense to you…
Enjoy…

DEAR! VIKTOR! I UNDERSTAND THE GREAT WORD! TRIBE! AND I HOPE I’M ONE OF THE TRIBE**** I WOULD HELP YOU THE MORE I CAN!! ALL MY DEVOTION TO LET’S ADOPT BLESS YOU ALL*****
anything is possible… I fully belive
Very true and entertaining. It was nice to see Nate mentioned. Our city Philadelphia is lucky to have a close friend of his as the head of animal control now. Nathan has some very sound ideas if you have ever read his books or attended his lectures. It is taking time to work here but I do not give up hope that most people are leaving their egos behind for the sake of others, in my case as we know animals are my passion. Everyone has a passion, my dad always tells me “Do what you love to be happy” and “Find a need and you will succeed”. We know these animals and the people working to save them have need. Right now my finances are at a low but it is only my time to post and share posts of animals in need, we can all do that for all animals and rescuers in need.
I hope to meet some local tribe members at PA puppy mill awareness day coming up soon. I love this tribe and how quickly it is growing. Great work by all, Ivan and Misha kudos to you on this wonderful idea!
Video shared and I truly thank you I needed something inspiring today after watching a very disturbing video….have a great evening our tribe:-)

Wow, incredibly apropos, Viktor. My approach on face, for example, has been evolving. I used to express a lot of anger, rage, sadness, shame, etc, but now I am sharing heavy things, but trying to do so without all of the negative energy attached. This is possible, you just have to think about what you are sharing, why, and how you present it. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful and important info. You got me thinking…even more! 🙂
This is very inspirational and well done. Every one of us can be a part of this large Tribe while becoming Tribe leaders in our local communities. It’s all about giving a voice to those neglected creatures we as a species domesticated. We changed them as much as they have changed us.
If we can’t adopt, we can at least be a part of connecting these companions with human counterparts.
Thanks Viktor. Yes it does make sense and Ted is phenomenal. I am working at building my site watercoloryourworld.com to promote rescue groups who are really out there working for the animals. Of course, I am promoting myself and my art as well.
I will probably listen to this video several more times. The whole thing about disconnect really hit me. There are so many groups out there, some very small but just as sincere, and most without enough funding. I even got a message on Twitter recently from someone running a no-kill, non-profit and she was so frustrated her whole message seemed to accuse her entire audience of not caring. This because she wasn’t getting donations. Whoa! So…
Nothing like inspiration, is there!
Thank you again.
