A couple of days ago someone left a note on my wall.. she thanked me for my emails, for the help they provide her, day after day… and then she acknowledged she never shared them with anyone.
Why? I ask to myself… It’s the primitive fear in our brains. The hoarding.
Hoarding is one of those behaviors that makes us human and link us to the very beginning of time, the days when we had to protect against predators and at all costs whatever was valuable to us. Hoarding goes hand in hand with fear.
Most of what we do at Let’s Adopt! is to formulate ideas, to describe situations and events most of us go through on a daily basis. When we are not doing this we are busy rescuing animals, treating them, healing them and finding them them permanent homes so that they can life full and dignified lives, something very difficult in Turkey and
any other country for that matter.
Let’s Adopt! is built on the principle that the sharing of ideas enriches us all, and, in the case of our rescues, it saves lives.
Ideas do not belong to me, or to anybody, ideas are out there, they belong to everyone that cares enough to find them.
Social media is a great tool to spread ideas (good and bad alike unfortunately)…
