There are stories that are too beautiful for words…

Leo was rescued from the streets of Indonesia. He was going to die a miserable death…

But Fate would have other plans for him…

This is Leo Today…. He is a magnificent cat about to embark on the journey of a lifetime, and at the end of that journey something beautiful is going to happen.

Leo is in Jakarta (Indonesia), but he has a beautiful family waiting for him in the USA, in Florida.

We need your help to make this happen. Please help Leo leave behind the horrors that nearly killed him and help him get home in Florida

Update 9 April…

We did it.. Leo flew from Indonesia to the USA. Upon arrival to Los Angeles he went from the lap of Bogdan, our flight volunteer straight into the arms of our friend Jason, who was there to greet him and take care of him for the day.

Today, Leo met his mummy, Hannah, that flew from Florida to pick up up and finally bring him home… YEAH!!!

This Lion´s journey is nearly over… a quick hop and he´ll be home with the rest of the pride.

To EVERYONE that helped save Leo´s life… THANK YOU!

Please help us continue reuniting more cats like Leo with their families. Help us continue rescuing animals around the world.

Many thanks!!!

Viktor

P.S. Don´t forget to visit and Like LEO THE LIONHEART´S new Page.. you will be able to follow up his progress and adventures in Florida!!

    What a wonderful recovery!
We love Leo. We donated when you first rescued him and that picture makes me cry. What an incredible cat he is!
Donated 25, not much, but it will help him get home.
    Go Leo Go!

Oh Leo! I’m so happy he has a home. How much does he need to get there? I donated $100. It’s not much but I hope it helps get him there. XO Leo!

Once again, thank you Viktor and all those involved who work so hard in the rescue of animals from some of the worst conditions imaginable. I can only hope that one day neuroscientists who study the human brain are able to find the cause(s) of whatever it is that some people are afflicted with that deadens their empathy and allows them to inflict so much pain and suffering.

  8. Cannot afford anymore than my ongoing monthly donation but do hope this will help Leo.

  9. We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved (Hebrews 10:39) I bealive is seen God…in you… amen

  10. I hope my monthly donations are helping with beautiful animals like this wee chap 🙂

Whenever we hear about a sweetheart looking for a home, we are almost there..Medical problems have been taken care of, now the animals need taking care of..I have and will always be in debt to Dr. Viktor, and again I say Thank You for being there for them..It makes my Heart Happy, and the Animals even more Happy..If God gives us the strength to help them, we are on our way to Heaven..We all know treating our Animals is critical, some come easy, and some come hard, but we strive to make it well, and if one person can’t do it, then we keep on trying..Leo has really come out of the woods. I don’t know if his eyesight will be back, I know we take on Miracles, so I hope this Miracle goes right where we need it, and Leo comes out with shining colors..I can talk about this a lot, but we all know what I mean, and every other considerate person..Keep all the good greetings and well-wishes, and Leo will be right up there with a grin on his face, and a tiny Meow from his mouth saying “THANK YOU, from the BOTTOM OF HIS
HEART, for he will be his own self again, and let the past just go away..Good Luck Leo, hope and know your new owners will do the right thing, and spoil you to high Heaven..Love you, and give you many Kisses,,God Bless and Happiness to all of you’s Love You Leo..Everything will work out just fine for you….xxooxxoo

Will he be okay flying. Do they handle animals with care at airports.
This makes me very nervous for the little guy. I am glad that he has a home, but I get very nervous about such homes in another country. Did you meet his new owners? This little guy is beautiful and cannot imagine the unbearable pain he must have gone through. You are a saint to do this.
    Thank you.

    1. Viktor Larkhill says:

Jassmond, we don´t adopt to countries, we adopt to PEOPLE…
Bearing in mind that we are all scattered around the world sending a cat from Indonesia to Florida doesn´t present any more risks that sending a cat from Michigan to Iowa… or to NY…
When people do things only based on proximity they end up… well… they end up marrying their cousins (bad example I know but.. )
Leo is flying on cabin, on the lap of a flight volunteer. Safest place in the world. And he is going to a beautiful family..
and you shouldn´t be affraid.. there are monsters everywhere, even next door.

  13. Awwwww what a lovely ending – go Leo enjoy your new family! Donated & shared! Go team LAG you’re all fab!!!!

  14. I’m glad that Leo found a good home. Many of these stories bring me to tears. I hate animal abuse and I can’t stand how people can be so cruel but praise God for some unique caring and loving people who take iinituative and do what’s right for the animals. Thanks Victor and for your team who do amazing and wonderful things for these animals. I can’t always help but my prayers, tears and thoughts are with all of you and I’ll donate when I can. Hugs and blessings and keep going with wonderful work.

    saludos!
