Ashton: Hit and run
Ashton was rescued two days ago from right under the wheels of a car in Istanbul.
He was run over by a car being driven by a lady wearing a massive pointy headscarf. She saw the cat, crashed him and drove away leaving this poor kitty desperatedly gasping for air!
Anyway… Ashton has gone through a terrible time but he is ok now… We don’t have a single available foster so we are taking him home with us.
We need to find him a great home. Look at him, he is unbelieveble.. you should have heard this meaows of pain the other day… Luckily for him he is ok now.
Conditions for adoption:
1. Family MUST have at least one other animal.
2. Ashton will be an indoor cat. Access to garden is a plus but not essential.
3. Ashton will eat a raw diet. www.rawfedcats.org

Janette Hamilton says:
It never fails to amaze me how people can be so cruel. I could not conceive of ever hitting an animal with my car and NOT stopping to try to care for it. Like all of us I avoid animals in the road whenever possible, on the one occasion that hitting one became inevitable I took the animal to the nearest vet hoping to save it, and paid the bill for its care despite the fact the animal did not make it. I could not drive my car for a week afterward.
Jean Hehn-Bradley says:
People who do such things have no conscious.
Marietta says:
Has anyone see the number plates to track her down?
maeshelle says:
nothing as painful to hear as the cries of an animal in pain. glad he is feeling a bit better and has you to take care of him until he can go to his forever family.
Patti Bahen says:
BITCH. She’d make a good speed bump. Just sayin’…
Thank God Ashton has you. I understand how it may be difficult to find foster homes for some dogs, but kitties are so easy. Just ask the one snoring in my ear right now…
jane baker says:
i will share Ashton and pray he finds a foster or adoption!!! I do hope also that the woman gets caught and punished. Unbelievable what people can get away with right under everybodies noses, and i am sure nobody saw a thing!!! so glad little Ashton is doing better and fully recovers!!
Pat G says:
So heartbreaking knowing so many humans do such evil. But also good knowing there are the other humans who care so much. This beautiful cat is with some of those humans now thankGod or is it thankDog ? Will Share and hope&pray he gets a response sooner than later.
I still have a sad shocked mind on the “crush” video that was on FB 2 days ago. Was the first I had ever seen. It was a beautiful kitten. I still cry when I think of the concious evil involved, I was so glad I was already fighting the videos made for public watchung,
ayfer says:
unfortunately there are loads of idiots who think they love God but hey! God created all animals as well as human…..I think he regrets creating human because they are so selfish so cruel!!! God save the animals….
