It has taken one day to reach my computer screen but this morning I have received the most graphic video imaginable of an horrific event hat took place in the Turkish city of Kayseri.
The scene, gruesome beyond the imaginable. The cruelty of the crime, completely unspeakable.
The website Sabah, a newspaper, broadcasted the horrific scene in all its brutality.

We are entering the third year of Let’s Adopt!, and in all this time, and for a number of reasons we have never shown images like these.
Our motto is: Saving lives, Inspiring people. I don’t believe in using cruelty as a tool to raise awareness. On the contrary, the prolonged and continued exposure to cruelty on the part of animal rights organizations has had the undesired (but understandable) effect of de-sensitizing people.
We have made a norm of only showing the complete success stories of our rescues. Gloating over the death of an animal will not bring him back to life and it doesn’t inspire anyone.
But this case, and the way it has been thrown into our view, is different.
The people who did this have surely done it before and will no doubt do it again. Next time the victim is likely to be human.
We have offered Rewards in the past. Today we are going to do it again. Let’s Adopt’s Simba’s Fund is hereby offering a reward of 2.000 USD to whomever provides information that leads to the conviction of the killer of this entire family.
The crime happened in Melikgazi, Kaiseri. We are convinced someone there must know something. This money should provide a good incentive to speak up.

why did not they try to help the puppy? What the hell is wrong with people.
This is beyond comprehension. What kind of “people” live over there? Sick, sick, sick. No words for this kind of cruelty.
Far from de-sensitizing me, this galvanizes my resolve to fight for the voiceless until my last breath. I’m stunned that no one thought to stroke her face and speak gently to her, but she’s out of pain now. It’s left to us to ensure that these crimes do not go unpunished – and most important of all – to create a future where this kind of suffering is unthinkable.

For those of us who can’t speak/read Turkish, what happed to that dog? Was she attacked by somebody with a knife, or did a car hit her as she was giving birth in a road?
And if she was in such terrible shape and still alive, why wasn’t a vet called to provide humane euthanasia? Was she still alive when she was picked up so brutally and put on a garbage truck? What happened to her baby?
However it happened, I think the people who gathered around her in the video and did nothing to help were terrible. Wasn’t there a single pet owner there who had a 24-hour vet’s number on their cell phone?
And what’s with most Turks (including several vets I know) picking up adult animals by the skin on their backs? OUCH! My English students always try to pick up our friendly cat by his front toes–and these are people who have cats themselves. Please, people, if you don’t know how to properly lift and support an animal, watch Animal Planet, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, etc. Vets and wildlife researchers on these programs pick up wild and feral animals more sensitively than the guy in the video picked up a (likely) sweet, sociable, 99% dead dog.

OMG – I’ve never seen such a sad and cruel happening! Nobody tryed to help this helpless mother!!! She was still alive and had to hear her babies cry for her mommy…*tears*… that’s unbelievable and inexcusable…how could they treat her like garbage?? Nobody..NOBODY tryed to safe her unborn – maybe they were still alive! RIP poor mommy – you and your babies are now in a better place…:((
It took me quiet long time for recover myself though still crying… I couldn’t watch the whole video cause I couldn’t breathe. This treason is forcing my mind. I hate humans more and more… Is this hell? Are they demons? What kind of a person can do this to a being? She suffers and the others just looking… and babies… god damn it! If anybody finds the one in charge we should just do the same thing to it! I say it, yes because it cant be a he or she! No, I won’t give a birth to this world… I can’t let my child see all these cruelty… It’s not fair… just not…
She was still breathing, thank God she was in shock poor sweet soul. I cant believe those people have 0 compassion, i think it is just evil the way they disrespected that sweet soul the way he handled her body. So much suffering on this planet, i wont miss it and i dont want to be here any longer than i have to. Poor babies, poor babies all of them.
I`m speechless……it is horrible thing to say but who ever did this deserves to be treated the same way…no other punish,treatment is good enough for them…first tought of all will be-sick person but that`s not important at all…who ever did this will surely do it again and did before and should be stopped any way possible.He/they are dangerous to any living being

this never should have happend because if there was enough caring people in this bloody place this girl should have never been pregnant should of been spade a 3-4 months old …it would never cross these peoples minds that this living ‘animal’ would benefit from a stroke or a gentle whisper because..well there isnt really a vaild reason. But for that puppy to be alive and breathing SOMEONE has took it out of the birth sack because mum was in no condition to do this, but still noone helped mum. Even if these puppies do survive which is very unlikly is the realistic chance that they will have a loving home their fate will be one of 2 1.st live a life time in the ‘dogs home’ sayno more or number 2 is that as soon as they grow a bit to be put back out on the streets to fend for their selves, i really do wonder the point because they are both no kind of excistance. i work a vets in bodrum and all i can say is that we do our best in sad to say these type of frequent events and i cant see it ever ending no matter how many animals we sterilize, because there is always just another one to be done.

i hope they euthanized them quickly instead of making this video. makes me sick, taking a video of a slaughtered mom still breathing and her babies unable to live outside her body. beside of this, i would kill that bastard with my bare hands. this is far beyond my imagination of cruelty against animals. what sick human is able to do this…
I can’t believe this poor mama was still alive. What the hell were the people doing just standing around and watching. Where are their hearts! Somebody could have just reached down and stroked her, whilst somebody else called a vet, at least the poor mama would have known she wasn’t alone then. What about her baby, calling for her in such a heartbreaking voice, did nobody think to pick up this baby and at least try to give it some warmth/comfort. heartless and evil. If somebody is guilty of causing the pain/heartache to this poor mama and baby I hope they rot in hell for the rest of their lives, that is the least they deserve.
OMGGG I cannot stop crying. WHY did no one remove the crying pup & take it to a vet immediately? And why was no vet called out to humanelt euthanise the mother? She was still breathing and alive, albeit in horrific pain.
And people wonder WHY I hate humanity. Why I feel NO compassion for humans who suffer. I can’t even associate myself with this sick sub-human race. How could any normal person gut an innocent animal and not feel anything? Viktor, what has happened to the pup/s? I saw two put onto a white polystyrine plate. What has become of them? Why did they not wrap the surviving pup/s in a warm cloth, toel, blanket or something… anything? So many questions – I am broken.
The person/people who did this should be shown no mercy. Do not let the law handle them – animal activists should be the ones who deal with these sick savages. They need to be gutted and stabbed repeatedly. I now want to see a video of them in this condition, with their interstines spilling out.
I do not think this will ever go away from my mind..I close my eyes to sleep, more sadness i feel in my heart.. Mommy dog was living when they picked him up, he was just motionless, she was breathing, but now all of them died..Viktor is doing outstanding work in Turkey, he is really doing extraordinary work ..please help Viktor as much you can he is doing where we feel helpless and hopeless..I will always be thankful for Viktor and his team for all the good things he did and became an inspiration for the others..Now we must make sure very eefective laws must pass for such crimes…this is a crime it is not something just enough to be condemned..It is the work of a sick mind, and those people should be locked away. We must do something about this crime does not go unpunished…

Is the guy who came at the end a vet? He doesn’t speak or act so! Why is he carrying the dog so brutally? He says “someone did a cesarean section on the dog” what? WHAT? Who are those people?? And yes, why doesn’t anyone do anything to help the dog but speak stupidly? Why are my country’s people this ignorant??
The poor mother looks just like my dog, she was stray and we took her to our house without knowing she was pregnant. We had asked the vet if she was pregnant but the vet had said NO. Then she gave birth to 8 puppies in our living room a week later. It must be worse than inhumane to harm such a beauty!

I can not nor do I want to ever understand how anyone can do such a thing– more I see things like this the more I want to stay away from people. There are so many sick people out there that it is really scary — Please everyone stand up and speak for these sweet loves for they want nothing more than to be loved and to love you back.. I couldn’t watch the entire clip – I can’t see properly because I can’t stop crying! No words I write here can express my feelings for this poor, poor dog. I do my bit for animal rescue in South Africa but God knows – I NEED TO DO MORE! So much more! The questions are so many … How anybody can do this to an innocent animal, is beyond me. I do know that one day I will end up with my backside in jail because of what humans do to animals … I swear I will not hesitate for a split-second to attack a person who is cruel to animals!
I can watch these videos without crying now. However, I think the emotion that has replaced the sadness is far worse. I am enraged and sickened. I see humans as the vermin of this planet, and no matter how many good people are out there, I just wish we would all disappear. Just vanish in a single second. We’re useless and disgusting. I want to believe we can be saved, but each time I see a story like this, my hope diminishes.
I know, like myself and those on this website for example, there exists wonderfully humane and compassionate people. But there are just too many bad ones (not just animal murderers, but greedy Wall Street scum bags that rob my country of its dignity, for instance), and the numbers are multiplying exponentially. Why can’t people just leave the animals alone?…. ALL ANIMALS. And how can I even hope for that? We can’t even treat our own kind with respect.

I couldn’t watch it- believe me, there is no desensitization here! . I was horrified to see that she was still alive- My God, who does this? Viktor, can you tell me what happened? Did anyone save any of the pups? Was she euthanized or did they just leave her there to die?
This has to be one of the most horrific things I’ve ever seen. I hope whoever did this is caught before another animal crosses their path. Just so despicable.
I thought perhaps it had been a car accident that injured and killed this poor family but when I looked at the one pup it appeared to have slice wounds on its side. This is horrendous that a person(s) can do this and feel no remorse. It is scary that there are so many sociopathic personalities among us. Please keep us updated on the situation. And I am disheartened too because there was not one ounce of compassion shown to the mother dog….she needed a final kiss or a loving pat on the head. The way they wrapped her in plastic and picked her up was horrific to watch; I only hope she was beyond feeling or had died before that occurred. What has happened to the human race? This is one of the most horrific things I have seen. And the fact that they people just stood around video taping, pointing and watching this poor soul still hanging on to life, listening to her poor screaming baby. This is unimaginable!! I cannot believe for one someone could do this to a sweet helpless creature and her unborn babies. I cannot believe that those worthless “humans” just watched and threw her and her 1 still alive baby away like GARBAGE!! THEY WERE ALIVE!! They should be doing everything they can to give them a fighting chance.. And nothing else HUMANLY euthanize them so they did not continue to suffer and die such a slow horrible death! I totally agree with those that say the CREATURE(s) that did this unthinkable crime should be treated the same way!! I hope they rot in HELL and suffer a horrible agonizing death!! And the people that threw them away… I hope no one helps you when you are on deaths door! I hope you die alone and screaming for help as that puppy did.

I am haunted by this horrific crime. It is a nightmare that will not go away. The perpetrator must be found, prosecuted and punished severely. If there is no justice then this is hell. Mother and babies will no longer suffer at the hands of a sociopathic human being. I just can not comprehend this atrocity or the soul less humans who watched and did not help mother and babies.
I am beyond anger for this poor baby and mama. Why did they stand around and watch the poor mama and baby suffer. What are they a bunch of masochists who enjoy watching living beings suffer. Why didn’t somebody call a vet, somebody to help the poor babies who probably eventually died, but suffered a long time waiting to die. Somebody could have put them out of their misery at least !!!!
