The Brave
We found Brave Boy in the forest of Istanbul.
He was desperately trying to find some food. We noticed he was badly injured, we tried to catch him but ran away.
He was found five hours later inside an abandoned building. He had found himself a calm corner to lay and die in peace.
We couldn’t let it happen.
Brave Boy was caught by a municipality, neutered in the worst possible conditions, his leg was badly injured by the door of the truck that dumped him in the forest.
Brave Boy was also shot, multiple times. We extracted four bullets. Five more bullets will remain on his chest as a permanent memento of human cruelty.
This is an amazing video. Please watch it and share it.
Brave Boy is now doing much better and he will be soon totally recovered. We would love to find a good family for him. One that can make him forget the horrors he lived whilst on the streets of Istanbul.
Are you that family?

Tamara says:
Why, why are humans so cruel to others? How can they shoot and maim such a gentle creature? If I lived a 1,000 years I could never understand man’s cruelty. What a forgiving and beautiful soul Brave Boy has.
Incilay says:
What a gentle soul!
The docile nature of the Turkish stray street dogs never seizes to amaze me.
You can have 10 of them surround you when they are hungry, begging for food, yet they are not aggressive and follow directions, more than trained house dogs do!
My six dogs show more “attitude” at the vet, when they only go for a check up.
Yet this injured animal, was treated by the vets and handlers, without a muzzle, without being put under. Amazing!
My Jake lived to me 16 years old, even though he had many “sacma” pellet shots in his body. None could be operated, since they were close to vital organs.
I hope this brave boy will find the home he deserves soon.
He looks like a dog that will be a good addition to any family, even those who have other pets at home.
Kelly says:
What a good boy! After everything this soul has seen of the cruelty of mankind he allowed this examination with no fuss. He is going to make some lucky family a wonderful companion.
