Alex's bucket list with a twist - 10 reasons to beat cancer!!!

Life’s delicate fabric is woven out of fleeting moments — here now but gone in a blink — and sometimes it takes a disaster to recognize that our most precious possession is TIME.

Alex has cancer.

But cancer can be beaten.

And there is so much Alex hasn’t done in life, so many sights to see, smells to smell, tastes to taste, feelings to feel…

… that he’s told us he is NOT GOING ANYWHERE!

Here is what Alex has told us he wants to do.

Make a dog friend. Done!
Walk on a beach. Done!
Get 1000 kisses.
Go camping.
Eat lobster.
Meet someone very famous (we may need some help here).
Catch a Pokeman.
Become a Jedi.
Rescue another kitty.
Alex is still thinking of a 10th wish, so your ideas are welcome.

Since Alex started receiving chemotherapy he is feeling much better. To keep beating cancer into a corner he must continue treatment.

Alex’s story

Abandoned by his owners to roam the streets of Jakarta, Indonesia, unwanted and alone, Alex was a mess by the time he got to us.

We nurtured him back to life and gave him a second chance.

Alex flew out of Indonesia into a foster home in Boston, USA, where the root of his ailments was discovered when cancer — a lymphoma — was found in his nasal passage.

During a consultation at the New England Veterinary Oncology Group, LLP the specialist gave us hope, recommending chemotherapy and explaining that most cats react favorably to treatment.

We started treatments and were fully prepared to discontinue all efforts if Alex reacted badly… however a miracle happened!

Alex’s response has been nothing short of miraculous. The swelling in his face is gone and his eye has opened. He is feeling and looking great after only three treatments.

To keep beating cancer into a corner Alex must continue treatment. The total cost of his fight for life comes up to $10 000.
