Dear friends, meet Chico – one tough little puppy. At the fragile age of 3 months Chico is dropped off at a petrol station by a car which speeds off and disappears. Kind-hearted workers at the station take in the helpless puppy, give him food and shelter, and he becomes the station dog.
Being a station dog however is not a safe job and in the period 2007 – 2009 Chico is attacked by another dog and suffers horrific damage to a back leg which is consequently amputated; is run over by a car which smashes his pelvis and now requires a metal plate to support it; is hit by a man who breaks his front leg. Chico‘s three years of life are filled with visits to the vet, complicated procedures and heavy operations.
Chico however has not lost his faith in people is is now looking for a home.
Chico is fostered by good friends in a family hotel, is completely recovered, requires no medical care, he is neutered, vaccinated and has a passport. He is kind, loves to be around people, gets along easily with female dogs, cats and even rabbits.
So, is Chico your new friend?
Conditions for adoption:
– The family must have AT LEAST ONE OTHER ANIMAL at present. We want to make sure the family understand the responsibility of having an animal.
– Chico will be an indoor dog. Access to garden is a plus, of course.
– Chico will be fed a raw diet
dear god in heaven….. what monsters there are on earth. why are people so horrid to innocent animals & children? what karma awaits them, how very heartbreaking,
perhaps to remind others what LOVE is all about?
PS…. unless the surgery is more invasive than described, i think chico is an indoor DOG!!!
Aaagh….Chico has a PASSPORT??
What a sweet looking guy!
I hope he gets adopted quick!
He is such a handsome boy, and had such a hard life thus far! It shows the inner love, no matter what in this amazing dog!! May he find his forever home soon!!
God Bless you, Chico. I pray that you find your forever home real soon.
