THE END OF INNOCENCE
Do you know the worst thing about being a stray? You have no control over your life.
Odelle, Bella, Steph and Princess are strays and their world has just turned upside down. Since they could remember these four girls had kind people nearby. The people fed them, built them warm makeshift houses, cared for them and loved them.
Life was good, even on the street… but evil never sleeps.
A TASTE OF DEATH
Suddenly life became bad.
The kind people disappeared. New people started coming which disliked the girls. One day a big car pulled up, some men ran out, caught Steph and drove her away. The girls did not understand what was happening. They did not sleep that night. Curled up in their little houses, looking at the blackness outside, they thought worried doggie thoughts.
Steph had been taken to the pound. She was released after a three-day long fight with the municipality. Please read on.

Little did the girls know that their innocent doggie lives got snagged in the cogs of human affairs.
The kind people were staff in a company which closed down and vacated the building, beside which the dogs had lived all their lives. The dogs had been responsibly spayed and sheltered. After the company shut down one person remained loyal to the dogs and continued to visit them weekly. This person managed to release Steph from the municipality shelter and reached out to us for help.
The new tenant company wants the dogs gone and has contacted animal control.
The girls are in grave danger of being taken to the municipality pound — a Death Camp where they will learn true terror. This story is happening in Bulgaria as we speak. Click here to see what dog pounds there are like.

We have contacted the new tenants and have taken responsibility for the dogs; we have also found a boarding facility. They must be examined and vaccinated, and then spend a quarantine period in a veterinary clinic before we can board them in the doggie hotel. Then we will need great foster and forever homes.

Here are some lovely photos of Odelle, Bella, Steph and Princess’ admission and initial examinations in our clinic. The girls are now vaccinated, treated for parasites and are staying there for a quarantine period before being moved to boarding next week.
These girls are not used to spending days in a boarding cubicle, however warm and secure it may be! They are used to being loved, roaming free and seeing the sky!
Please open your heart and home to a stray with no future.

After spending the required quarantine time in the veterinary clinic, the girls were moved to boarding, where they will wait for their forever families to find them.

We found Odelle a home in the USA! Odelle has been waiting for months — waiting for someone to call her their own, waiting for her life to start, waiting to be loved. Her true life has started — a life where she is loved and cherished, sleeps in a real doggie bed, has a warm lap to cuddle in and dreams happy adopted dreams.
While Princess and Odelle are adopted, the other two girls, Bella and Steff, continue to wait in boarding. Please email us on adoptions@myletsadopt.com so we can tell you more about each one of them.
