VIKTOR’S BLACKLIST!

Lets Adopt has some to the toughest adoption rules amongst all adoption groups in Turkey.

The toughest. Period.

Contrary to other groups we are not obsessed on personal details, our screening procedures are character-driven.

Those procedures are designed to clearly separate the good from the bad, and it works. We constantly receive emails from people who dont understand the reasons for those rules. They believe we are here to give animals away.

Those people dont know the way we operate. We are an educational group who aims to provide perfect lives to our rescues.

This is the reason for everything we do.

Very rarely though we make mistakes. Those mistakes happen because we make exceptions to our rules.

Moved by an animal lover explanation we may be tempted to believe that the person may, after all, be a good owner. Whenever we make exceptions we fail.

Today we are launching the Let’s Adopt Adoption Blacklist.

This list is here purely for information purposes and it reflects nobody’s opinions other than Lets Adopt’s.

The aim of this list is to help the decision making of those people in Facebook who may be looking for an owner for their rescues.

We will not enter into public discussions on the reasons why the people in the list are blacklisted. One thing you can be sure of though..

IF YOU SEE SOMEONES NAME YOU SHOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, GIVE THAT PERSON AN ANIMAL, DOG, CAT, PARROT, RAT, FISH… THAT PERSON WILL BE CONSIDERED TOTALLY UNSUITABLE BY THE LETS ADOPT MANAGEMENT.

How to use that list:

General Public: Please check this group before taking the decision of giving an animal in adoption.

Admins of Facebook and Adoption Groups: Please feel free to drop us an email providing with a name to be included in the Blacklist as well as your reasons for it.

We will then do our own checks and decide whether to add the person to the list or not.

We hope this list will act as a deterrent as well as stop animal abusers roaming around Facebook from being able to get their hands on poor innocent animals.
