“Suerte” is Spanish for luck, and that’s the name that was given to her by the people that found her, about to die on a village hill.
She could barely move, extremely lethargic she had the look of a dog that even if only a few months old had seen the indescribable and, after untold suffering, had given up.
And then, with a mighty struck, mother Luck brought Suerte to us…
“Suerte” is an Ibizan Hound, one of the world’s most ancient breeds, direct descendant of the Egyptian Hunting dogs, that settled in this Mediterranean island in Phoenician times. She’s the perfect representation of her breed, intelligent, active and EXTREMELY FUNNY. Some call Ibizan Hounds the Clowns of the dog world… and that, she is.
Over the last two months, Suerte has received the best treatment modern medicine can afford. She has also been staying in a great foster home, where she has recovered not only her health and looks but her capacity to trust, and love. She’s a completely different dog than the one that came here when she was about to die…
It’s time for Suerte to find her final home… She’s an amazing dog that will bring delight and happiness to her final family.
To adopt her write to me on viktor@myletsadopt.com . Let’s Adopt has very specific adoption conditions, here they are:
1. Family MUST have at least another animal.
2. Suerte will be an indoor dog. Garden is a plus, but she will live mainly inside the home
3. Suerte will be fed a natural diet based on raw meat and bones (www.rawfed.com)
4. Finally.. Suerte will live in a non-smoking environment.
Here she is, the nicest, kindest most amazing dog, straight from the Mediterranean….. Bring her home, noone desserves it more than she does.
Please kindly SHARE this post on your social networks, let’s all together find a home for this beautiful baby…
Suerte was treated and rehabilitated thanks to the amazing support of our incredible community to the Simba Fund. Please, should you wish to support our work so that we can continue saving animals like Suerte, please contribute to our working Fund today…

You can see the pride she has now. She is beautiful!!! I wish I could adopt her, but I have no job, and Social Security does not provide much. I have a rescue who is part of my family and lives inside. I don’t believe dogs or cats should live outside. They are family and should live inside as family!!!!! You do a great job Viktor!!!!!! Keep up the great job!!!!!

What a well-chosen name for this sweetie – Suerte had indeed loads of it finding you on her way out of misery and illness… Wish I could adopt a dog as well, but my two cats might not like the newcomer ! Mucha suerte para tu futura vida, querida Suerte!
