IS THE “TORONTO PET DAILY” A SCAM? TAKE A LOOK AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND
Meet Gord Macey, owner of Petbusiness.ca, the Toronto Pet Daily and Lawrence Park Pet Care. Outside his neighborhood and his blog he’s a nobody. I need your help to make him famous. More famous than he would ever be by walking dogs and peddling adverts in a blog. Please enjoy the reading and SHARE when you get to the end…
One fine day, as Gord Macey woke up to walk the neighborhood dogs, and ponder on what to fabricate to make his blog more appealing (so that more people would hopefully click on his adds or hire to him to walk their dogs), a golden opportunity revealed itself. A group of more organized liars lead by the infamous Tanya Fusco called LAG Beware that had been slandering us, an international rescue organization, and he was offered a chance to paraphrase those lies without putting himself in danger of being sued for libel. What do you think he did? He probably looked at the dogs he was walking, he took a look at his miserable self, he giggled a bit and ran to his computer! He diligently quoted and paraphrased the lies and slander he heard from a bunch of liars and convicted thiefs (yes, we do have proof) that Let’s Adopt! Global was scamming people and using the funds to bathe themselves in luxury. Did he look for proof? No. Did he contact Let’s Adopt! Global to ask if the allegations were true? No. Did he say “attempts have proven fruitless” to contact LAG? Yes. Were there any attempts? No.
Instead, on seeing his blogpost, we sent him an update on the Extraordinary Journey of Dorian –one of recent rescues found shot with a rifle, made a miraculous recovery and flew home- in the hope that he would realize Let’s Adopt! Global is about hope, dedication, patience and maybe, just maybe he would feel a drop of shame for his unmitigated dishonesty. He replied on August 9, saying he was just about to contact us! We offered comprehensive explanations about his “concerns.” We invited him to İstanbul, to see our daily rescue operations with his own eyes. Here is a part of his reply: “Cheers Viktor, thank you for your response, and for taking me to task as I have done to you. I do take your response to heart, will rethink my position, and as you said maybe some day soon I will be willing to print an update/retraction as I continue to follow the great work LAG does (that was never my concern, rather the accusations made against you….which you have pointed out could have been cleared up more quickly had I reached out to you personally sooner).” He sounds regretful and apologetic, right?
But the reality was far from it. He promised to send us some questions and include the answers in his blog. In the meantime, behind the curtains, like the coward he is, Gord Macey was busy socializing with the members of LAG Beware, plotting the next set of libel he was going to publish. What he wrote to us was exactly the opposite: “What’s done is done, let us move forward in hopes for all abused and homeless animals. To that end, I have no more intention of publishing another article on LAG unless you ever wish to respond.” One of the many reasons why Gord Macey does not even deserve our respect as an adversary is the fact that his best game plan is to incite a rebellion within a group of lunatic women and amputate my penis! The same lunatic women among which are thieves, liars and animal abusers.
Then there is Crystal Donovan, the infamous individual that lately donated 1 penny to contaminate our fundraising efforts with her libel. When Donovan asks for support against LAG, Macey cowardly draws the line. He will not throw himself into the fire. He is a voyeur and inciter. And only that.
Finally, Gord Macey, asks his new found “girlfriends” to help him write the next libelous post about us, and they do, very happily. Is this what you would expect from a writer charging advertising rates to business for including ads on his pathetic blog and claiming to be thorough and objective? What a shame..
This is why Gord Macey is the worst kind of coward you can ever encounter. He knows that every word he typed in his blog is a lie. He published it and continues to spread it but hides behind other people’s words and tries to protect himself by omission of personal pronouns, by disguising his false accusations via general remarks but makes sure the reader knows what he is talking about. He is the worst kind of coward because he is afraid of the truth. In his distorted view of the world, truth will not bring in more customers, a scandal will. So here is a question for you, Gordon. Contrary to you, I don’t write blogs based on hearsay, or third party information, I do my research, and I do it well. So taking advantage of this ocassion I would like to ask you, just one question: - What makes someone that, for years, publishes a widely read blog like the Toronto Pet Daily, do something as STUPID as what you’ve been doing for the last few weeks with Tanya Fusco and her “cheerleaders” at that slander group? What were you thinking man? Were you looking for approval? Are you feeling lonely lately? How can someone make such an error of judgement? And most importantly, why? Have you no decency, Gord? Please feel to reply… As you once told us, Gord, “I may, or may not, include the answer in my blog. You will of course be able to join the community in their comments.” So, this is it.. The Toronto Pet Daily for you.. Pathetic really… Just pathetic…. Now you know why Gord Macey deserves fame. Join us in making Gord Macey famous! Do not for a second falsely assume that he will stop unless we stop him! He is very well aware of what he has done and in his words, his reputation has to go down the toilet now, otherwise he will drown everyone in the shit he has created. SHARE far and wide. It’s very sad when people play on sympathy and act as victims where they are not. Mr. Gord Macey was offered the chance to be a real journalist and make up for his ill-informed tabloidlike two articles about Let’s Adopt Global. He instead preferred to be a puppet and joined their grrls-shout-dishonor gang. On his Facebook page, his weblog and on his new page Their Own Words, he keeps going on and on about his amputation. What amputation is that? It took a magnifying glass and scrolling back and forth to finally understand what he was talking about. Where his loyal followers are allowed to make amputated-hand-on-wheels remarks (tongue-in-cheek of course, and if anyone with a peabrain reads this, go ask an elementary schoolteacher the meaning of this all, please), everyone else, (read LAG followers as he describes it) is not, or as he claims, making derogatory statements about his handicap. Well, your mental handicap and lack of integrity is of course discussed, Mr. Macey. But nowhere on the LAG page or that of your Toronto Rag or anywhere, any such comments were made, and I can tell because I have been monitoring it pretty closely to document all your drivel. So, Mr. Macey, you must have received them in your mail then, right? And if not, which is most likely the truth, it’s because nobody knew nor cared about your amputation let alone felt the need to use it in any way. In case you don’t know what Let’s Adopt Global does, we rescue dogs and cats who like you, are missing limbs and body parts or had to have them removed in order to be able to live a long and healthy happy life. We are very sorry about what happened to you, but it’s YOU, Mr. Gord Macey, THE ONLY ONE bringing that up all the time. |

It is so sad that fellow Canadians are so vile and full of hatred. I am so glad I am NOT that sort of Canadian. I adopted Leia aka Jelly Bean via LAG and they have been so incredible to me and fellow Finns. These people speak without basis, but fact is that one of them, Michelle Brew, has endangered many dogs to date, and they do not question her actions whatsoever. Hypocrisy at its best. Lacras! Son todos unas lacras.
The low point of this story was that you felt the need to post photos of his children. Children should NEVER be brought into arguments – especially on the internet… EVER…

this must be one of the lowest points a human can humiliate himself to. Putting all those rescues Let’s Adopt has taken on in danger just to get a couple of extra bucks is so shameful. if i were him i wouldnt be able to face people, these people are beyond redemption. raging a personal war on someone is worse enough but being a threat to all those innocent animals whose ONLY hope is Let’s Adopt is totally unforgivable. i’m sure noone will let him walk their dog again, this man has no credibility and cannot be trusted with the life of our loved ones. i wouldnt even trust him with my toilet paper!
That group of women and their silly crusade against LAG alas has crossed a fine line of what once could have been seen as entertaining drivel from a bunch of nutters. But it’s gotten beyond the point of silly. This dogwalking blogger or blogging dogwalker broke quite some rules if one is sincere in one’s trade, and he is anything but a serious writer or journalist. Which is proof this world we live in nowadays, is an oyster full of pearls and swines. I have to visit that Beware page from time to time to see if they have wised up and found it in their hearts to let go, but far from it. There’s a real bad vibe there. The woman who says she is suffering from cancer over and over again might ask herself if the bad vibes she surrounds herself with sustain her disease, or if the negativity has sunken so deep into her life, causing cancer. I would not be surprised if it does. Also, I feel her online behavior and attitude is an insult to everyone battling cancer. An old schoolfriend of mine passed away not long ago, just a few days after her birthday. Not once did she complain about her illness on Facebook, not once did she play the victim or burden others with the questions and doubts that must have raged within her, until she realized this was a battle she could and would not win. Even then, nobody ever got anything else from her but her usual warmth and caring nature, an uplifting exclamation mark even while saying thank you for all the birthday wishes. She knew she only had few more hours to live, but did she milk those moment for attention, for all of us to say oooh and aaaah and oh my how you must suffer… Shame on that one woman in particular for abusing her disease the way she does, abusing it as a defense shield or means of attack with words that smell of bad breath, bad grammar and bad spelling. Here’s a few words especially for you: “Du Bist ein Trottel!”
Whereas the dogwalker is concerned, it is a striking coincidence that he, like Tanya Fusco, has never had any direct contact with anyone from the Let’s Adopt Global board or community when they decided to launch their articles and facebook page. Deep down every human being must have a conscience, a little device or mechanism that keeps awake at night if something unjust has taken place or occurred earlier that day, or even earlier in life. The human psyche has its own ways of balancing the score, so to speak. So far, I haven’t seen any of that in any of these beware women, the blogger included. If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny. But fact is, they have messed and keep messing with Let’s Adopt Global rescues, its projects and the reputation of its founder and board members. Their conduct makes one feel ashamed for this species we call human kind.
The Beware women and their friend the dogwalker have a fondness for the word “hacking”. When their petty minds forsake to conclude the obvious, they yell “we have been hacked!”. Maybe some they consider as trusted friends within their not so secret circle are not really their friends? Maybe some folks realized, like Giselle Ammonn Perry did ( and the Beware page referred to that story again for being one of the main reasons for founding the page), that all of her accusations were pointless and not true, and that she said all she said to cover up her own wrong behavior and actions. She admitted every accusation of LAG being frauds thieves criminals was untrue and she apologized for all the harm and inconvenience she had caused. What did Beware do when they were given this information? Because the root of the page’s existence turned out to be false fake a lie. Instead of acknowledging the truth, they twisted fact once again and ignored Giselle Ammon Perry’s apology to Viktor and LAG. The admins should have disbanded that page, it would have been the only decent thing to do given the changed circumstances. But they refused to let go of their spiteful crusade.
It’s obvious they have no clue about what really matters. There is a lot that can be said, and written, but those with a genuine sane mind and a healthy dosis of common sense, will realize that whatever those women are trying to do, it will collapse and blow up in their faces one day because there are certain laws of and in nature one can simply not escape from.

I was kindly invited by one of you to enter the group. Of course, I can’t tell you who did it but yeah, it was one of you, you guys are all such great specimens, it was only a matter of time before you all started eating each other.
There is no HACK except for the one who calls himself a “journalist” in this story. This guy has stooped to the most unethical levels of passing himself off as some kind of concerned “reporter” while all the while manipulating and creating the story, rather than reporting it. When he reported that his “attempts to contacting LAG were fruitless” it led people to think we were hiding. Implying we are guilty of something. But this Hack never even bothered to contact us (which he admitted in direct email to us). But even after admitting that he would not retract. No, this Hack continued behind the scenes to create a scandal to hurt yet another good rescue.
Gord, seriously. It’s better to do thorough research, get your facts straight, not lie about whom you have contacted or not, spoken to or not instead of having that great feeling of being very popular in a group of people with bad intentions cheering you on. Now it backfired.
Noticed there is another group with issues against Gord Macey’s bird cage liner. Their petition is gaining numbers, that would explain Macey’s back peddling in some of his posts with Animal Haters Global as I shall now refer to them.

More proof that he’s a HACK and a LIAR? Here you go. His second tabloid piece on Let’s Adopt! Global was regarding Kayla, the dog wrongfully seized by Carol Vierela and another from Let’s Adopt! and killed. In his style of ending all libelous statements with a question mark (as if that will protect him) he asked how Let’s Adopt! could raise funds if Kayla wasn’t ours? His whole piece on TPD (Toilet Paper Daily) is based on his premise that Kayla wasn’t ours, therefor we’re a scam. But now that we know that he was in on the SECRET planning to destroy Let’s Adopt! and manipulating the story for his next piece, he was very aware of the statement that Carol Vierela ( http://blog.myletsadopt.com/2012/07/30/kayla-a-requiem/ ) made in that forum “..the thing is, Kayla was theirs, Julie told me.” I’m paraphrasing, but you get the picture. He was aware that the basis of his piece is no longer there. It was exactly as we had told him. On Carol’s confession, he became aware that the whole piece is a complete lie. Has he retracted? No. He continues and has even amped up the lies. Your day is coming to answer for what you’ve done, Gord. It’s coming.
There are no words that I can use to describe how I feel about Gord and his stupid followers….
Dear Viktor, Keep focused on what you and the vetranarians are doing for these helpless animals that come into your care. Good people recognize each other, sadly, so do the disturbed. Do not waste your time on them.
