This is Sol, a wonderful paralyzed cat rescued from an animal hoarder in Istanbul.
Since his rescue, Sol has been living in a foster home, where he has grown to be a wonderful, friendly, loving cat. Please have a look at his video to get a full glimpse of Sol’s character. Sol is a male, and he is neutered (excuse me, in the video I kept on calling him SHE :-()
Sol was adopted in the USA and he was about to fly on the 9th of August to his family in Missouri. Unfortunately yesterday we received an email letting us know that Sol’s owner had an accident and broke his hip, so, the adoption has been cancelled.
Sol has until the 9th of August to find a new home. On that date, his foster family is moving to a new location and have refused to take him with them.
Without foster homes in Istanbul they will either leave him in a hellish municipal shelter where he will be euthanized or they will have to euthanize him themselves.
We really have no time to waste here. The clock is ticking for Sol.
