Animals like Tequila.

Our members in Jakarta received a call.
A small terrier was in desperate need of help.
There was something wrong with his nose, as you know a dog’s most sensitive organ. He must have been in excruciating pain.
We made a video describing the story of Tequila’s rescue. The pictures and the music tell a story of bravery, endurance and love, but they also tell a story of lost chances and abandonment.

We don’t know how the injuries happen, but Tequila was probably bitten by a much larger dog, right on the nose. The attack tore it away, leaving it hanging at the tip…

Tequila is now an animal considered “unadoptable” by the vast majority of animal rescue organizations. Who would want to have a dog without a nose and left with what a grotesque grin that makes him look like an evil creature.
Where he is, Tequila has no chance of ever finding a home. In a deeply superstitious society Tequila is viewed as a curse, some sort of demonic being, whilst in reality he is the sweetest, most loving and playful dog you could ever imagine.
This is one of those occasions when we need the combined actions of our entire community. We need to find a home for Tequila.

Let’s make Tequila a priority in the hearts of tens of thousands of people. He needs us.

Conditions for adoption:

1. Family MUST have an existing animal.
2. Tequila MUST live inside the home, not on the garden.
3. Tequila MUST be fed a RAW diet (www.rawfed.com)

and finally…

4. The family will be a non-smoking family. Second hand smoke kills and makes miserable the lifes of both humans and animals. Tequila has already gone through too much in his short life at least now he will enjoy a clean crisp air in his new home.
