David says:
Any animal loving people in Istanbul willing to help? We are two tourists that have no power but to watch, as a young turkish couple are keeping their german shepherd puppy in a small taped-up cardboard box in the trunk of thier car. The very young puppy spends the whole day in the box, sitting in its own shit without …water, air or food. The couple defends themselves by saying they are taking the puppy out for a cpuple of minutes every once in a while. They let it drink gutter water and feed it som bits of banana, then back in the trunk the puppy goes.
When we confront them they just laugh us off as stupid tourists. This is going on right now, in front of the Ipek Palas Hotel, Orhaniye Street no. 9 in Sultanahmet, their car is a grey Opel Astra, reg 01 NO 069. All we want is someone to reason with them, not start a fuzz, and to see to that their puppy dog is taken care of. Please help!!
