 Leaving.. Sahip Çıkalım! Sayıların Önemi… Geçen hafta Sahip Çıkalım!’ın işleyişiyle ilgili farklı bir yöntem izlemeye karar verdim. Sahip Çıkalım tek tek sahiplendirmelerden Bunları yazdığımda politikamızın değişme nedenlerini anlamayan ya da anlamak istemeyen kişiler tarafından reddedileceğimi, hatta taciz ve nefretle karşılaşacağımı biliyordum. Sonuçta Sahip Çıkalım 212 üye kaybetti. Sahip Çıkalım!, son 48 saat içinde 306 yeni üye kazandı. Bu üyelerin çoğu Kaş Köpekleri konusunu pro-aktif bir şekilde ele aldığımızı Ayrılanlar olması da mutluluk verici aslında. Bunun anlamı Sahip Çıkalım!’ın politikalarını, bizimle yürüyecek ve heyecan verici bir Sahip Çıkalım! rakamlardan ibaret değil. Eğer ayrımsız büyümeye odaklanacak olursak asıl konuyu göz ardı etmiş oluruz. Tek başına İletişimimizi topluluğumuzla izdüşümlü olarak yönetmek bugün Sahip Çıkalım!’ı sahip Çıkalım! yapan şeydir. Let’s Adopt!… the importance of numbers Last week I took a different approach to the way Let’s Adopt! will work from now. Let’s Adopt! will stop focusing on individual rehoming I knew when I wrote it that I would encounter rejection, even hatred and abuse, from people that simply, wouldn’t understand, or wish to understand the reasons for this change of policy. As a result Let’s Adopt lost 212 members. Let’s Adopt! has also gained 306 people in the last 48 hours, most of them have join us after seeing the way we handled proactively the case of the Kas Dogs. Through a smart approach and the combined involvement of thousands of our members we averted a massacre from happening. Furthermore we have just opened the way for a completely new way to handle the stray dog situation in CHP controlled municipalities. I’m SO happy for all those people to have opted out. What this means is that I am better defining Let’s Adopt policies to appeal to the Let’s Adopt! is not only about numbers. If we only focus on indiscriminate growth we will be missing the point. I hope you will be able to continue re-homing along with preventing the need for this. I’m really proud to be a member of an organization that is so pro-active and has actually accomplished something like the stopping of the massacre in Kas. So many times we feel helpless. Hayvansever eğitimi denince benim aklıma şöyle birşey geliyor aslında. Ben de dahil tanıdığım herkes hayvanların hakları ve bir sahip (bu kelimeden hoşlanmıyorun aslında) olarak haklarımızı bilmiyoruz.
Hayvanları ilgilendirecek Kanunlar ve bunların uygulanış şekilleri hakkında hiç bir fikrimiz olmadığı için de biraz daha aciziz diye düşünüyorum.
Eğer bir eğitim söz konusu ise bence bu konu göz ardı edilmemeli.
Son derece mantıklı bir girişim ve de akıllıca ben ce !!! herşeyin kökü zaten eğitim ,daha sağlıklı, kalıcı ve de insanı kurtarıcı dolayısıylada bu hayvan dostlarımıza yansıyacak….kabul etmeyenleri pek anlayamadım ….herzaman yapıcı yeni ve gerçekleşebilecek doğrudüzgün fikirler üretip hayata geçirmenin doğru olduğuna inanırım …başarılar dilerim sevgilerimle…
You really don’t need people that don’t understand your work! It’s sad that they are of such small brain power. The work you do in Turkey should be enough for these people to see, and if not, they’re of no need. Keep up the good work!
Yes, yes and yes. Through Lets Adopt I have change the eating habits of m y cats, still we are in the transition process, it has been challenging but they have change, Lest Adopt have give me another perspective in working with animals and I love it

First of all, there was no rejection, hatred,or abuse as a reply to your “decision”. People who critized you had tried to understand your reasons. But I must say you replied all of them unproportionally aggressive and maybe in an abusive way.
Second; losing 212 members or gaining 306 new members have nothing to do with the issue. There may be still many members who do not leave the group and who do not think you’re acting in a right way but also still continue to care for animals and wish to watch out the things going on here. And there may be some new members who wish to see the things here, again, to be able to be more aware of the events happening. That is the case.

It is policy of this group to answer in a polite way to people who approach us the same way. The majority of the messages were not so polite. Some people even threatened me with death (you didnt get to see any of those).
But as I explain.. it is my duty to find good homes for those animals, and if those homes are overseas then they will go overseas.
Finally… this group was not started to entertained those who felt like having a “free animal show” on their computer screen. We do real work here, and in a completely innovative manner. I am aware those people cannot understand the way we work as they belong to the past.
Finally.. how I wish that animal lovers got involved and did some real work instead of just “watching”..
i think this is for the good. i mean let’s adopt did not lose “member”s. people who do not understand the basic principles of this group left. but we are still here. our mission here is to rescue animals, save and give them a second chance. this has nothing to do with us. big numbers do not mean much unless every number is willing to work. i mean really work, fight if necessary. not just talk and curse and watch… i am happy and % 100 sure that we will grow as a group with a mission. i am in till the end. let’s adopt! will find foster and permanent homes no matter what…
