It was only after I fully joined the Let's Adopt community that I fully understood the importance of why we do what we do: To rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals. NOT to answer to the doubters or justify our calling but to raise awareness and spread a message so powerful that it frightens the weak into passive-aggressive smear campaigns. Those people are cowards and they'll never have a baring over what must be done to protect those animals that rely on humans. Excellent read.
