Kaplancik was a 6 week old male kitten who was looking for his “forever
home.” Here we had a gorgeous little tiger!
Kaplancik had lost his mum when he was 4 weeks old, he was rescued, taken
to a vet for his shots and taken to a temporary foster home where he
learnt how to use a kitty toilet, take baths on the sink and sleep on
the pillows!!!!
He has also learnt to watch TV, loved football and
watched action movies and played high-risk games with his
toys. His favorite pastime was to sit on peoples laps and purr as well
as playing with the two dogs of the house he was being fostered at.
Kaplancik’s new life in his permanent home incorporates dogs as well.
Kaplancik now lives with Onur and Tuba, a young couple in Istanbul, and Mojo the dog. Mojo gave Kaplancik a warm welcome to the home, and they love playing with one another.

I want to volunteer to help stray dogs in turkey. I am a US citizen living in Izmir and have adopted several stray and combat the problem here daily. I am looking to turn my daily work into something that can do more. Can you advice me of any groups or programs I can join to get more active and help this horrible problem.
Sharon says:
Hi,
As Kaplancik’s foster mom, I just wanted to thank the people at Let’s Adopt AND Onur & Tuba for providing Kaplancik with a wonderful home. My husband and I miss him a LOT, but we know he is having a great time playing with Mojo and traveling with his new family. Thanks everybody! It’s so nice there are people like you in Turkey.
