Carlos was most likely kicked by someone as a result of which his diaphragm was punctured. A punctured diaphragm causes an enormous amount of pressure in the lungs as well as in the abdominal area. It will cause unbearable pressure even to the heart.

Now, imagine you can’t breathe and there is so much pressure in you that you are ready to explode.

Carlos was just like that when a member of Let’s Adopt found him on the street about 20 days ago. The vet who operated on him gave him just 17 per cent chance of surviving. But Carlos took that 83 per cent and made it. He has been recuperating for 3 days now in a foster home.

Our best guess is that Carlos is 2 months old. He loves chicken, and made it clear to us that he doesn’t like milk that much. Oh, and he is very joyful around people. Mind you, he loves playing hide and seek!

He now lives with Tayfur and Carmen the cat, two of the wonderful members of Lets Adopt.
